It is good Liverpool was not drawn to compete with Chelsea, Newcastle, Tottenham, or Southampton in the Capital One Cup. However, respect must be given to Bournemouth.

Testing 7 days ahead and hopefully Liverpool can begin on a positive note by sealing 3 points at St. James' Park.

It is a good draw. However Liverpool should take great care not to underestimate their opponents.

With most of the injured players coming back , Liverpool should be at full strength. Hope BR will rotate the players and not rely on RS & SG too much. Since the last game , I hope BR will give Borini more playing time. Liverpool should play with 2 strikers upfront.

Hope to see more of lambert, can, borini and kolo.

I dunn understand why br buys players but dunn trust them playing. Balo scored his 2nd and hope he will continue his good form.

Today's latest hot news :

Surprised that SG was still not offered a new contract. RS still have not signed his new contract either.

I would allow Steven Gerrard to move on. Lets be honest, he has past it and I view him as a liability than an asset.

Alternatively, keep him on the bench but would he want that and would his salary justify him warming the bench ?

That deep role he is presently deployed to embark on isn't doing him nor the club any favors.

Raheem Sterling is an exceptional talent for a 19 year old. No question about it.

Sadly, it is time to say goodbye to him too when Real Madrid comes knocking.

Pierre.
