After some careful considerations I think I will not watch the game. I have a strange feeling that Basel is going to pack a double decker bus and break on the counter attack. After all they just need to draw to see them through to the next round. Liverpool die die must win tis game. If the last game were nothing to go by , it will most probably be another boring game. Final result 1 -1 .

Ok Reds out of CL but what a beauty by Gerrard! Also don't know what Markovic was thinking when he shoved back his arm but there was no contact and that Basel player deserves an Oscar for acting, should not have been a red card! A real pity because Markovic looked like he was slowly finding his form, really hope this does not affect his confidence and pull him down again.

Anyways, I ain't all that sad because Reds still in the Europa cup and there is now a big incentive due to the winner of the same getting auto qualification for next season's CL which is a huge prize. So Reds still have another bite of the cherry, well at least for now.

Just read a funny quote by Gary Neville after United's match against The Saints, apparently he thinks both United and the Reds pretty poor form at the moment, so much so that he thinks this Sunday's showdown maybe as bad as "a pub football standard game between The Duck and Dog, and, The RedLion":D
