Perhaps they think that LS is a jinx or just being another scapegoat  |
Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
I find it so silly and comical that Brendan is now screaming for star names to be signed.
I cannot help but laugh. Pierre. |
Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
I really don't understand what is happening to Liverpool's transfer plans lately.
1) They are letting go experienced players without getting a replacement for them first. 2) They got players in but don't play them. 3) Despite being in the Champions League Liverpool they still find it hard to get good quality players in. Really shake head. Waste time and money. |
Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Really dumb for BR to let SG go. He is preparing his own death warrant.

Of course the owners being owners need to find a scrapgoat...rather the fans misunderstood Br than hate them.. |

Perhaps BR got his own agenda...to build his own team with the likes of Borini and Joe Allen. |
Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
There is a transfer committee comprising of 5 idiots in Anfield that does the buying/selling of players..... BR is just one of them and his voice is often outvoted 4/5 by the others. According to his blog.... he DID NOT want Balotelli.... he does NOT want SG to leave..... and he cannot protest because the Chairman of the transfer committee goes running back to daddy every time there is disagreement amongst them..... of course daddy will always back his son because he is the owner of LFC.
Ultimately it is all about money more than footballing passion with the current LFC situation...... same same like the previous owners Gillette & Hicks but this time they have camouflaged it much better to fool the public and fans. |
Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
So we can rule out return of Luis Suarez.
Would be a tragedy to see Alexis Sanchez n Luis Suarez both playing for Arsenal. |

I remembered Pepe Reina was criticised heavily when he was not playing well (anyone can search in this thread)...so no diff if he is in goal today...we won CL back in 2005 and he is not the goalkeeper then...:) Daniel Agger was poor last few season...he always injured and not consistent..:) Glenn Johnson is getting on with his age and very expensive player...again not consistent player...so changing him is just a matter of time...:) |
Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Looks like there may be some kind of pattern to this perhaps?
Previous top class reds strikers such as Ian Rush, Michael Owen and Fernando Torres all appeared to flop after leaving Anfield. Maybe some kind of jinx? Quote:
