Agreed. For massage lovers can stay at DC mall area like hotel utama (also have in house massage call to the room) as the massage joints are in close vicinity. Example are chinatown, princess, ala mayang, tunip, best & better, Ria massage, tropical asia, etc. They have rooms ranging from normal, vip and super vip.

However you will discover that majority of all these room provided by all these joints are really damn run down. Even their super vip room cannot even be comparable to hotel formosa room standard. They are of different class standard compare to altalanta, trinity, etc....

Early last year when the rate is about 7000rp, satu juta worth $143.

However now (1 year plus had past) when the rate is 9100rp, satu juta only worth $110.

However some hotel like formosa charge in sing dollar so there is no exchange rate loss to them. However, to remain competitive they may not anyhow increase their hotel room rate.....

Imagine when the exchange rate drop to S$1 = 10000 rupiah which eventually will happen one day as base on the historical report that rupiah since 40 years ago only depreciate against the dollar in the long run. Then should that really happen then converting dollar to rupiah is going to be very simple, just add 4 more zero behind and vice versa.

Historical record over 10 over years have already shown that rupiah has gradually weaken against the dollar with no sign of long term recovery, the strengthen of the rupiah is only short term and eventually it will devalued even lagi more.

Base on the Sing dollar/Rupiah historical exchange rate below, we notice that almost every year the Rupiah has been depreciating ranging from 300+ to 700+ per sing dollar per year with the exception in year 2006 and 2010. The source is taken from one of the historical exchange rate website base on an average calculation over 365 days in a year which is considered as quite accurate.

Thai baht has devalued from 23+ to 25+ per sing dollar. (estimate)

Filipino peso has devalued from 33+ to 35+ per sing dollar. (estimate)

Indonesian rupiah has devalued from 7500+ to 9100+ per sing dollar. (estimate)
