He will be given the captain's armband. :D
J Henderson will be dropped because he refuse to sign the extension contract.

Sub standard owner....Sub standard Manager...Sub standard 1st eleven...Sub standard new signing...the rest of the EPL clubs must be laughing now...they will have a shot at the top 8..or 10 ...i don't see us having a shot at top half of the table anytime soon...even if Liverpool is in the top half at the end of the new season, i still believe they do not deserve it...until at least the Manager goes

John Henry & Brendan Rodgers: Don't worry, I'm not making the same mistakes again.

Fans: No, you're making all new ones.

Stadium extension.

stadium extension is a loan frm FSG to be paid back by the club within 5 yrs interest free,so fsg is not spending anything, they have balance the books, got all the commercials deals in place, money wise we are better of than 5 years ago.FSG bought the club at 250 million, its worth 700 million now.time to sell? cos with them ard we will finish ard 6th and below.

January this year Ian Ayre said FSG will not sell the club.
Two days ago there was an article explaining FSG is in advanced discussions about selling the club.
This could be the reason why Brendan Rodgers has shut his mouth and there is still no official confirmation from the club that Colin Pascoe and Mike Marsh have been fired.
There is also no timescale on when the stadium expansions are due to be completed.
Most likely we will lose Sterling this year and Coutinho next year.
Liverpool is for sure in a better position financially but in terms of on field performances, nothing have changed.

So sad to see the club raiding the bottom half of the league for players. Its seems like the aspiration is only to be a mid table team.:(

Can please provide article. I searched but can't seemed to have found anything. It probably makes sense if the rumour is true. FSG and BR have been rather quiet ever since sacking the backroom coaches. Normally they should sack the manager and the entire team. It seemed that FSG do not want to pay BR's severance pay. Probably they are leaving that to the new owners. Only hope that somebody who is rich enough to buy over the club. Someone who loves and know about soccer and someone who loves Liverpool's rich history and tradition.

I recall reading some article recently about the life of John Henry and it was said that he had lost half his fortune since buying over Liverpool with the $500 million spent on Liverpool the leading cause. I wonder how the $500m was spent?

Danny Ings will wear the number 28 despite having the chance to choose from the famous number 7, 8, and 9.

He should be considered very lucky if he should score 5 goals and more next season.

Pierre.
