Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Lawrence Vigouroux, our young GK who is on trial with them, had a real good game..
He looked confident and comfortable in coming out of his line and his distribution was good too.. Hope he continues to improve.. |
Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Benteke needs to produce a minimum of 15 to 20 goals this season to justify his 32m price tag.
I'm being lenient on him since many fans will have the common excuses like he needs time to gel and so on. I'm also expecting fireworks from Firmino and Clyne not forgetting our usual suspects of Coutinho, Can and Henderson. It is also time for Lallana, Markovic, Sakho, Lovren and Mignolet to improve. |

Jerome Sinclair...18 year old striker with good potential...however his Anfield future may be in doubt after rejecting a new deal, hope he ain't trying to follow in Sterling's footsteps:( Harry Wilson....18 year old winger who became Wales' youngest international at the age of 16. Jordan Rossiter...18 year old central midfielder dubbed the next Stevie G. Pedro Chirivella...18 year old central midfielder who apparently has a good ability to read the game and make the right pass. |

Harry Wilson....18 year old winger who became Wales' youngest international at the age of 16. --> his progress seemed to hit a bottleneck these 2 years
Jordan Rossiter...18 year old central midfielder dubbed the next Stevie G.-->i'm more worried tat he is becoming the next Spearing. seriously hope i'm wrong.. Pedro Chirivella...18 year old central midfielder who apparently has a good ability to read the game and make the right pass.-->high hope on him. he looks comfortable on the ball going by his cameo appearance in pre-season, but seriously has not set the world on fire.. |

Looks good for Liverpool's future if only the manager knows how to use them in thier right position. |

I think it is vital for the Reds to get a win in the season's opener, particularly since the opponent is Stoke(re: last season's thrashing) who are pretty strong. So Lfc need a holding midfielder for this match(at least to start), to me Ibe would be dropped to the bench, move Coutinho up and pick either Can or Lucas to start as DM. |

Moreno is likely to be dropped after his poor showing in pre-season while Rodgers' favourite Allen is out with hamstring injury. I don't think Coutinho, Firmino and Benteke are ready to play. Team: Mignolet, Clyde, Skrtel, Lovren, Gomez, Lucas, Henderson, Milner, Lallana, Ings, Ibe Bench: Bogdan, Sakho, Moreno, Can, Coutinho, Firmino, Benteke |
