Yesterday, 23 oct 2010. Went to Suntec to check the RMB rate and they quoted 1 : 5.02
Then I went to the money changer near convention hall, check the rate and they quoted 1 : 5.02. So I walk away and the indian asked me : "how much you want to change"? I said 2K and he quoted another rate, that is 1 : 5.03.

the difference between 5.02 and 5.03 for S$2K is 20rmb ...

Today RP rate is 5.053 at 15.20 hrs

Need some advice from seniors. Just now i remitted sgd4k at Toa Payoh area to my china bank account. But the agent asked me where i withdraw this money (sgd 4k) and what is the reason i remit. Is this normal now?:confused:

For TT, i changed sgd1 = rmb5.1
