BR should never plays politics and choose 'his' own players to play out of positions. We have to instill the 'Win every game' attitude. Skrtel and Lovren I personally feel they are good players. But they cant play together. Unlike Carragher or Agger, they cant organise the defence line. Left Back selection is a mystery. Why always play Gomez when Moreno is there rotting on the bench? Is Moreno that bad? |

This might be the primary reason why Rodgers leaves him out as he is the type of manager who does not give chances to his players unless you are his favourite. |

Martin Skrtel, Dejan Lovren, Nathaniel Clyne, Lucas Leiva, James Milner, and Christian Benteke will not play in the Europa League.
I will take a draw. :p |

wtf...Sakho has always been outstanding, consistent and more of a leader comparing with skrtel. How can a Liverpool manager fail to recognise that? |

As usual , talk more than he walks! I see even the pool,first11 also can't win this match! Another trophyless season ! It will be a blessing if pool stay at mid table this season! Haiz.....

Not as bad as I feared but still not great.
This may sound like beating a dead horse, but everything good came from individuals being good. The system, the shape, the tactics, basically everything the manager was responsible for was sub par. Plus points: Sakho was immense, but we already knew that; Moreno was excellent; Gomez, Rossiter and Chirivela played well; Lallana's goal was outstanding and Ings showed some nice touches. Negative points: Mignolet still forgets to shout and injured Toure as a result; Can was poor but may be cant blame him all that much as he was moved back to defend when Toure came off injured (it should be clear by now that Can cannot defend well); Ibe was awful (again); Coutinho looked nullified with the lack of movement around him, although unlucky to hit the post; Origi offered next to nothing; Lallana was pretty poor aside from a lovely goal. The biggest negative though was once again we played at an incredibly slow tempo, relied on a fair bit of luck not to concede more, and the only way we were ever going to score was a moment of individual brilliance, which thankfully happened. |

I'm not sure why the defense refuse to communicate with one another!
This is becoming a nightmare. Where is the support for Ibe? You expect him to dribble and dribble and dribble and deliver a cross but no player makes the effort to connect with the ball. Origi is till raw and he was basically not in the game. Honestly we could have taken the 3 points which could have made our lives easier in the later stages. |
