Bordeaux was the better team and I admired the team's fast and heavy pressing. Liverpool was just an average team.

Klopp needs to sign players. The team needs one or two pure wingers and a solid forward.

From today I'm going to pretend Sturridge never existed!

they were great in the man c game, but very ordinary in the midweek europa game.

Pretty dire at times and lucky to get a decision, but Anfield will continue to be a problem until we get Coutinho and Sturridge on the pitch regularly. And a few new additions. Plus the Europa League always leaves a mark on teams.

Best thing about the game, Emre Can actually looked like a great midfielder. He's hinted at it in few away games, but today he was simply outstanding in the deeper role. Plus Lovren sticking to basics and uncomplicated things is a great thing to the defence. Him and Moreno look a lot more solid than what used to be the norm last season.

Also good to see Hendo and Sturridge back.

That'll do nicely. It wasn't great or even that good at all but it's a win and it's a wonderful week for us.

A great weekend for Pool which other results fell in our favour. All those above or around us dropped points, save for MC n Palace.

We are 6 points behind the leaders which is good news.
The league is really tight as there are so many teams fighting for the title and the final 4th spot.
I think we can do better.

Hope the team will pick up another positive result in tonite's game against Southampton.

Liverpool have opened contract talks with Mignolet . Klopped had mentioned that Liverpool's goalkeeping department is good. Not looking for another goalkeeper . :(
