Yap indeed very heng . Wembly here we cume. :D To be honest Klopps' reign had already been a success even if Liverpool don't qualify for CL this season . He had done much better than his predecessor by taking Liverpool further in other cup competitions. I guess FSG's revenues will increase more this season. :)

Again well done team . :D YNWA .

No! He is a traitor just like Owen! He despised pool and forced the transfer didn't he?

No?

Agreed! If wodger is still in charge, we may now be fighting for relegation! On the side note...I hope pool save the penny for next season by not signing Texeria! Knn...50 mil£! Can buy 3 quality players Liao! Hope FSG learnt their lesson well on benteke !

Your quality is referring to Suarez type or Aspas type?
Today quality players cost minimum 30m and most importantly the team must be playing Champions League football.

Neymar - 79m
Rodríguez - 71m
De Bruyne - 55m
Ozil - 42m
Aguero - 38m
Sanchez - 35m
Hazard - 32m
Gotze - 30m

Any top team in the world would easily want at least 2 or 3 such players in their team.
50m cannot even get you 2.

The question then is Alex Teixeira actually in this stellar league of players now?

Btw what do you chaps think of Matip and Xhaka? I don't follow the Bundesliga closely, so not familiar with these two apparent potential targets.

Judging Teixeira presently I say no.
It is ridiculous that Shakhtar Donetsk is demanding 38m for him.
Liverpool has 3 bids (25m, 29m, 31m) rejected for him and I say we stop bidding.
Brazilian players who had links with Shakhtar Donetsk have not done well in the Premier League.
Willian cost Chelsea 30m and was not able to show his talent.
He has good pace and dribbles well but with over 80 caps for Chelsea in the Premier League and 9 goals I think Coutinho was a far better buy.
Fernandinho cost Man City 34m and was known to be one of the best box-to-box midfielders in the world.
His performance was not eye catching enough and that is the reason Man City signed Delph.

I have not watched Matip so I'm not too sure.
Xhaka will be solid for us in the midfield along side Henderson, Can or Milner.
He is tall and strong with good vision, passing and shot power but quite slow.
20m to 25m is a good steal for this player.

How good are they when they cannot command a regular starting spot in their teams? Their clubs are willing to let them go is because these players are surplus to their clubs and selling them to Liverpool is profitable as everyone knows the Reds are suckers in the transfer game.

Agreed. Great players come at a cost especially when every transfer fee is inflated.

However personally I think we have a lot of young potential players. I think Klopp did well by really playing them in some Cup games. Unlike BR who just plays players he favoured.

Hmm...if this kind of player is worth £50 mil, i wonder why no other clubs outbid pool's 32 mil offer? Can i ask how do you justify that 'Top quality'players must at least cost 30 mil? Whats the criteria of being a 'top quality' player?

I guess Liverpool should just walk away from this deal. :(

If you have notice everytime Liverpool approached a new player the price goes up quite a lot . I really don't understand what the people are doing at the transfer committee . They all should be sacked .

As for tomorrow's game West Ham have also some key players injured so won't be available for tomorrow's match . Really hope Klopp will pick the right team and go for a positive result . Liverpool can't afford to lose another game to West Ham . Moreno and Can should be rested .

Don't expect any more transfers coming in this month . But Liverpool can expect more business will be done in the next transfer window.

Hope Klopp will give some of the youngsters a chance tomorrow..
Brad Smith, Ward, Brannagan, C.Teixiera, Ojo, Illori together with the senior players to face W.Ham...
It will be interesting....
