This season's epl is strange.
Tho Pool has not been playin well this season, we are only 10 pts adrift of 4th placed MC!

This match there are only 3 positives.

1. We took 3 points.
2. 6 goals will boost our confidence.
3. Sturridge is still world class.

That having said I think we were still poor especially against a team like Aston Villa.

Our defense could have easily let in 2 goals. We need commanding Centre-Backs.

We have a decent midfield in Milner, Henderson and Can but either we sign a player like Alonso or we have to drop Coutinho deep and give him more freedom.

KO for FA Cup is good. The fixture congestion is not good for us.




Good for the whole world to know. Easier to sell him off this summer. He is too unreliable. As he age, his injuries should get worse.

Villa were truly awful but that said it is always very nice and enjoyable to see a goal bonanza, helps boost confidence not forgetting goal difference!

This game also illustrates how vital it is to keep Sturridge, Coutinho and Firmino fit and sharp over the entire playing season.

Unfortunately Daniel's fitness level is still too suspect, Benteke is clearly no replacement and Origi is young and inexperienced. So Liverpool need to search for another top level striker whoose fitness is reliable over the summer.

I also hope Daniel does not take part in Euro16' over the summer because what he really needs to do is to rest and build up his strength over the summer to ensure that his health does not continue to be a hinderance to his top class striker's ability.

Oh yes, fantastic to see Kolo get on the score sheet and celebrate as well:D

Sturridge cannot be sold, have to keep him @all cost.No other striker better than him in epl @ this moment. If given the same chance last night, gorilla would have headed over the bar.
What pool need is a new goalkeeper. Mig is totally unreliable.
