Small Update... Our Indonesian Vice President Yusuf Kalla Just visited Batam Yesterday 13 March finally back today 14 March Afternoon
I went to check out Pacific and some other clubs totally quiet....
But I think everything should be back to normal...

Can anyone advice as I am going to Muka Kuning for the first time? I have an assignment this coming Friday at Batamindo Industrial Park near to Muka Kuning. I would like to know as follows :-

1. What is the taxi fare from Centre Point (Nagoya) to Muka Kuning?
2. How long will it take to reach there?
3. Any budget hotel to recommend and preferably near to shopping centre?
4. It might be boring at night, so is there any KTV/Karaoke or ceweks over there?

If you are staying in Nagoya( Centre Point area), the closest hotel is FORMSA hotel. Not say cheapest around there, but there are budget hotels near there. Cannot remember the name, but there are at least 2 budget hotels going about 100k per nite( rupiah). It is at the corner of Center point. Walk just outside the perimeter of centre point and you can see.

For massage and pick up, you can see there are alot there. Indah2, Femina, Queens, Berlian massage(pickup) is further down. Deasy massage and Linda got specials, but all older ladies. Dynasty KTV is infront of Queens too. Walk about, you see alot in that area.

In front you can see Nagoya Hill, the biggest and newest mall now. There is a I-hotel there, newest too.

You going to Muka Kuning for business? No one pick you up? Rates for taxi I am not sure, since I dont take taxis there.

Always nego properly for taxis. Before you hop in. IN RUPIAHS. Take care and have fun.
