the jackpot place is situated at the rear of the formosa hotel building.was there for ages;never really ceased operation, most folded when the former kapolri sutanto took office and declares wars on judi(gambling) but luckily not on vices (ceweks):D.

There is another type of Jackpot going around in entertainment centres.

Top 100 peniun - The 2nd floor, disguised with a lot of children machines. You can play jackpots there.

BCS - The 3rd Floor, also got such games.

Nagoya Hill - The ground floor, at the corner, on A & W side. Also got such machines.

Not sure if they got raided.

For taxi, I will ask first b4 I make the trip.

I am going to Muka Kuning for a small project for 2days. So after finish work in the evening. I hope to stay in the hotel nearby and maybe enjoy karaoke until midnight so that I do not need to worry whether there is any taxi after 12am to go back to Nagoya. So I wish to know in Muka Kuning are there any budget hotels or KTV?

I do not like to sleep alone in the hotel and you know what I mean………ceweks lah.

Any bros have been there or who stay near to Muka Kuning can advice.

don't think there's any lodging or even interesting place at MK.panbil mall and temmengong stadium(for live concert)are located a stone's trough from batamindo.(guess thats where your going)
besides nagoya maybe you can try batam centre area where its nearer to MK.
batam centre.
places to stay: sydney hotel,01 hotel,sky lodge.
phi hotel is a halal hotel(haj pilgrimers.holyman,women and members of polictical partys only..not for cheongsters)
makan places:megamall,ocarina foodcourt,kampong tua foodcourt.etc etc
entertainment:titanic karaoke,city cafe.ocarina??
apologise should i miss out anything.

bro ny88,these are genuine gaming for kids run by the funzone group.the coupon won can be only exchange for softtoys,pencils etc.the one located at top100,2nd flr is closed.
the raided one has skimpy waitress and comes complete with ticketing machines;cash are exchange for coupons.their jackpot machines accept and payouts only in coupons.no cash transactions and hence no gambling.the place comes complete with license to operate.as soon as there's some changes in the local law-enforcement top post,fees/protection monies are re-negotiated.this is Big business bro,Huge sums are involved man.this current raid was directed from Jkt it seems as some policeman were also haul up.that tells us something about indo doesn't it?

Seriously, Like bro Lextaxy says, Muka Kuning has nothing. To me, Batam Centre is not the place to chiong if you want fun. Other than Sdyney Hotel, massage , KTV, there is nothing much. Mega Mall Batam Centre? The food there is not that good and compared to variety, Nagoya has more.Batam Centre has No Budget hotels too, as to my knowledge.

By the way, MK is about 15 to 20 Minutes away from Nagoya. 10 Minutes from Batam Centre too. Rather take the extra 5/10 minutes to have cheaper hotel and more fun.

Oceania? Just open only, for family entertainment. Food? Nothing much. Entrance fee? 5k.

No. I am not refering to the closed on in Top 100 Peniun. There is another one, The machines are mixed with those for kids to play. 2nd floor too.

Similarly those in BCS are similar too.

I am not sure how they work. But I dont believe the people there are playing just for coupons. I dont gamble in these machines by the way. Just happen to be a avid acarde game player myself. That is why I do walk in to see the games offered.

Protection money? Not surprising, on top of the salary given by the central gov, the INSPECTOR CHIEF HAS to find other source of money to feed his ka kias too. This is reviewed to me by the inspector himself.
