Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Let us keep the game aside and spend some time on the Hillsborough disaster.
Today an inquest jury has concluded that the 96 football fans who died in the Hillsborough disaster on 15 April 1989 were unlawfully killed. The 27-year fight for justice ended when the jurors reached decisions on a total of 14 questions about the disaster that were put to them before they began their deliberations which is the longest jury hearing in British legal history. At long last the matter resolved. Liverpool will never forget the 96 who lost their lives on that fateful day . Ah Gong hope that the team will fight for the 96 in tomorrow's match .

Hope that if Benteke plays he remembers to score a goal .
Hope that Mignolet remembers that his job is to prevent the oppo from scoring. Hope the midfield players will control the game . Hope that everyone turns up for work . A draw would be a decent result . Will the Yellow submarine stop the Reds in their march towards a Europa final? |
Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Real bummer, defence switched off in stoppage time to give VR a crucial advantage:(
Credit to Mignolet though, played well when called upon and pulled off a class save from Bakambu. Problem for Liverpool tonight, very little creativity and once again a return to lack of clinical finishing. Coutinho had an off day, Firmino was not bad at times but overall nothing special. A real pity that Liverpool are without Origi, Can and Sakho because notwithstanding VR's high level of technical skill and tight organization, I think the Reds would have scored and probably won tonight if the above 3 in form chaps were playing or at least the above former 2. Don't know why Klopp did not play Sturridge though? Did not even bring him on as a substitute. Think that may have been a mistake. Anyways, still all to play for at Anfield next Thursday, although its going to be a very difficult tough match. Liverpool have to come out all guns blazing from the start to try and get a quick early equaliser to help settle things down. Sturridge has to start and hopefully Coutinho shall be at the top of his game, unlike last night. |
Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Ah Gong also confuse why Klopp did not play with a natural striker. Looks like he was playing for a draw. Liverpool really had to attack the next game and try to score 2 or more goals.

If DS is rested for the Swansea game then he could be available for the Villareal 2nd leg. My guess is Klopp will be using the kids again for the Swansea game and resting the key players for Villareal's visit to Anfield. |

Just sell him off! He is a time bomb! Don't know when will get injured again! We can't have a tauhu in our squad! Think he spent more time nursing his injury than playing since moved from Chelsea !
