Tough to nego as I was quoted 800k to 1.2mil for the remaining ladies I find ok.

Once see something to my liking, I didn't want to hassle along with the mamasan as she was putting a lot of good words for the ladies services.

I will definitely reach earlier, perhaps a weekday to explore batam choices the 3rd time to compare the prices around but looks like it might be 2mth away as some events are ongoing mid June and the Ramadan period.

Might plan bangkok trip in the meantime.

In order for me to compensate my own annual leaves that are going to be wasted becos i cant get my desire hotel & room in Batam ,i will replace it with Medical Leave....lol.

2morow onward i will be on sick leave...and won't be in sillypore.... :D

Thank you,the objective of this tactic is to let the girl i book knows that even if i am new to Batam,i also have basic ability to counter against bad service or if they plan to "chu pattern" ,like leave my room early. No guarantee it's 100% foolproof,but at least i believe it will help a bit.

Then again,the tactic is 100% useless if use against the Banned Joint on my signature becos the OKT supports the girl more than customers.

1. Yes,Ramadan starts at 28th June,double confirmed the dates online.I am avoiding those dates for sure,unless you got a collection of girl's numbers for booking during then. Personally I don't like the idea of demand more than supply.

2. Normal days 8pm to 9pm already Aquarium joint half closed,if go during Ramadan dates i think not very wise.

No.3 ,No.4 & No.5 question need to ask senior bros here,i don't go for KTV in Batam. And have no experience regarding the 3 questions. Very sorry.

Very informative,next round i will try to take metered cab too to see how much i will be charged.

So far at 1230pm,be it Gold Bird or New Berlian (or other joints),i think very limited girls in terms of quantity. At 2pm,during weekdays,Gold bird usually have more than 30 girls every time i was there. New Berlian around 20. I am glad you guys able to walk there instead of take cab there cos it will be another about 20% to 30% extra charge for taxi commission. For Memory KTV,like one bros here say,must always bargain down the price,even if it's 700k...hehehe...wait till you meet a quotation of 1.8 juta from Queens8933 as told to me via PM by another bro who 1st time go Batam.

Glad you find the map useful,the originality of the map isn't from me. It's from a senior bros who posted it in this thread 1 or 2 years ago in this thread (forgot his name),i only use those maps to modify it. I believe turning down the taxi touting is one of the skill that every Batam cheongster needs to be equipped.

Going there and bargain the taxi prices down is easier,let's see how you fare on your way back to Habour Bay on your last day. If alone,i usually take ojek at 20k,and if more than 1 person,i pay 40k from taxi not outside the hotel...just for reference. I am too lazy to walk back from Formosa to Harbour Bay after much bonking...lol

It's already on the way up and i find that it is at most time the newbie or 1st time Batam cheongster that kena chop until whole body blood.(i am one example) Queens8933 already have girls priced at 1.8 mil (exclude tips) base on my PMed FR. Well,if i am being quoted that price,i will rather stay in sillypore instead.

Then again,i always tell myself...mistake make one time is enough,next time try not to make again. Otherwise one day the retribution will be that my money will become more and more worthless while i keep having to work harder & harder to make it worthy. And this retribution i believe will surely happen and i am partly to blame for it.

My solution is on my newbie guide on my signature,hehehe...which i am still working on perfecting it. To help others not make the same mistakes i did or in other word,help delay the time of making my money becoming less worthy.

Willing seller,willing buyer here. Most of the time,Mamasan or Papi judge customer and quote prices for their customers to bargain down,and if those customers who don't bargain,the extra becomes "extra extra" profit.

You can only walk a bit further down, towards Formosa area, about 10 min.. Direction would be from your side towards tua pek kong, and further down the road towards Nagoya hill Mall area, towards harmoni, turn left when you see crown massage, there is your place of cheonging.

Alternatively, you can walk towards DC mall, that is another massage paradise with a lot of selection... Also about 10 min walk. You hit the Golden gate block, it is that area. Behind DC mall... take a look

Just FYI guys, the cab I took that's using meter is a blue colored cab. I believe it's blue bird or something. I tried to avoid all other cab especially at the harbor bay area where they have cars (and definitely no meter in there). They really gets on your nerves. I totally gave them the deaf ear. If we want a cab, we would flag for one.

As for the rates I got from changing in Batam is SGD1 to IDR7000. My friend changed at harborfront and only got 9000. I changed around Formosa area. All money changer looks like they are having the same rate.

So far my 2D1N experience was great. Didn't spend much as well as didn't plan on going shopping or KTV. Pretty much staying in the room and enjoy the wide selection of of tv channels. And of course enjoying my girl. Haha.

Yes bro taxi u took was bluebird it doesn't go into HB terminal only when dropping passengers does it go in.u sure sgd 1 = 7000 IDR cos so far exchange rate is at least for last week had been 9000 IDR = sgd 1.00 .
