We could have signed Mane for less than 12m 2 seasons ago but we being the typical Liverpool choose to sign him now for almost 25m.

Same story with C. Ronaldo. I think our scouts have really bad judgement and cannot make sound decisions.

Quite a fair point.

Personally not a big fan of Sturridge, but he is still Liverpool's best goal scorer currently and is a world class striker. The obvious problem is his injury issues but like you said, it looks like Klopp may well have figured out how to manage this and get the best out of Daniel.

Btw that goal against Sevilla was pure class and no fluke. Sturridge will score goals period. I say we keep him, try and offload Benteke and Mario and hopefully sign another solid young striker who is a tad better than Origi and Ings at a good value price and not £30m rubbish.

There were quite a few players on longterm MC...eg Joe Gomez, Danny Ings etc... and the local scouser Jon Flanagan was out for 14 months + another 4 months to get back into match fitness = total 18 months out.

So dun just pick on Sturridge.... give that boy another chance. :D


Galastaray has put in an $8m offer for Mario Balotelli but he wants to come back to Liverpool for pre-season and another chance under Klopp...... I say quickly sell him.

Liverpool target Mario Gotze has refused to rule out a move to the Anfield club, but insists that he is currently solely focused on Germany's upcoming Euro 2016 campaign.

Meanwhile, Gonzalo Higuain is keen to secure a move Liverpool this summer - despite the Reds failing to qualify for Europe next season.

Liverpool striker Samed Yesil is close to securing a dream move to Trabzonspor, reports in Turkey claim.

Joe Allen's agent has downplayed suggestions the Liverpool midfielder is about to be reunited once again with Brendan Rodgers at Celtic.

Southampton are considering offering Shane Long a new improved contract to deter Liverpool and Spurs making a bid for the Irish international, says the Daily Mirror.
Long struck 10 times for the Saints last season, form which is believed to have put him on the wanted list of Jurgen Klopp and Mauricio Pochettino.

Mario Balotelli could join Lazio should the club sign Cesare Prandelli as their new coach, according to Calciomercato.
The Italian outlet reports that Milan have told Liverpool they don't want to sign the striker permanently or on loan for another season.
Balotelli's agent Mino Raiola has reportedly already held initial talks with Lazio over a possible move.

Looks like Roy still seems to like Liverpool players:D

He has 5 Reds in his 23 man squad to France, including not so fit Henderson and Sturridge.
