Felt very compelled to post this here. As we approach our last EPL game of the season, we will regrettably see the last of Robbie Fowler. God probably wun get a contract extension, given the limited games he has played.

Fowler was a destroyer in his heydays. His vision, anticipation and calm finishing made him an Anfield legend. I still see all these in his game these days, though he's slower than before. Remember how he flicked on the ball to Kuyt when he came on in the Champions League semi-finals against Chelsea. I felt that was Kuyt's best chance of scoring, after the disputed goal. A no-look pass is what we call it, if you play basketball. He seems to instinctively know where his team mates are.

I can't see how Fowler will feature in the Champions League final so the last EPL game may be his swansong in a liverpool jersey. That's a sad day when you realise you won't ever see him running in our jersey anymore.

We should be happy for him coz he got a 2nd chance to come back and play for Liverpool. It was like a dream come true for him. That is y he got the extension, thru hard work and sheer determination. Kudos to the man !!
A legend we will remember for all times.

And I remember reading somewhere he basically jump on the chance when SP, man c manager told him the news. That shows how much Liverpool is in his blood.

He certainly is slower nowadays, but he was never that fast in his prime too. He did miss a very good chance against fulham, and nearly tap-in Kewell's cross near the end of the game.

Certainly will be remembered for all his contribution and a LEGEND.

Isn't it great if the Legend can score the last goal in his near ending career at Liverpool on home soil against Charlton with the fans cheering him on for his past contributions to Liverpool success:cool:

I'm sure Rafa will play him, given how he is saving the first XI for the CL final. A hat trick for Robbie? A shot across the goalie, a cheeky back heel, and a volley in the penalty area? And an assist for Kuyt to add? ;)

Actually 3rd or 4th dont really matters to me cause it will be forgotten when next season start...

Being no.1 is more important... With the injection of cash, next season looks bright to me! :D

But 1st, lets win the CL! GO LIVERPOOL!

It will be great if all these happen.. Haha...

But with the title chase over, most prob we see TV telecast matches involved in relegation fight, we might not even see God's last game for us.. :(

this will be MU's 16th Title...and they are 2 titles short of LIVERPOOL's proud record of 18....

Recently, we got the UEFA, League Cup, FA Cup, Charity Shield, Super Cup...but wat matters most is Seeing the footage of Gerrard lifting the premeirship in front of the Kop end...hopefully Pool can win..the silverware that matters to us most.....

Yep... CL qualification is all that matters. No diff between 3rd and 4th. Rafa is right to sacrifice league points to prepare for CL Final. Note that AC is still embroiled in Serie A fight to qualify for next year's CL. Hopefully, it will be a distraction.

We must really start challenging for the league title next season... That said, the mancs ARE still 3 European Cup triumphs away from us! ;)

Er, our last EPL match is at Anfield, against Charlton. So... we will almost certainly see God's last EPL game for us.
