Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
We all can agree that the manager is responsible for the performance on the pitch . Whereas the owners of the club should be responsible for anything that is off the pitch . The problem with Liverpool is that the owners got involved with the buying and selling of players . The owners have this philosophy of getting the young players cheaply groomed them a few years and later sell them for a handsome profit . Sadly this approach hurt the performance on the pitch . Liverpool used to be in top 4 but now it had dropped to a mid level table team . Liverpool last won a major trophy back in 2005 . Ah Gong agrees with most of the brothers here that almost everyone is a flop and or a disaster. They have to change their way of doing things at Liverpool . What the owners should do is to allow Klopp have more say in the transfer market. Let Klopp decide what type of players he wants for his team . Than the transfer committee must go all out to support him . Currently Ah Gong feel that Liverpool should really get a left fullback and a central defensive midfielder to replace Lucas as the most urgent .

The silly transfer committee was implemented by Ian Ayre.
When this joker steps down in 2017 some changes need to be made at Liverpool. Naturally when you hold a key position in the company you should take on more responsibility and not blame issues on the manager. Liverpool should study Juventus and shadow their achievements. |

Something is definitely wrong with the committee in charge of buying players. Those years when Liverpool were champion year in year out, the other power house in other league such Juventus, Bayern, Real Madrid were also the champs in their respective league. Today they are still up there performing to the highest level but where is Liverpool now. Getting lower and lower down the ladder.....

Too much speculations and assumptions flying around. :D
What actually happens within the club is hardly known. I hope Klopp will turn Liverpool's fortune around or the team will remain a yesteryear club. :p |

A few good news...
1) Mario has agreed to personal term with Chievo. It is up to Liverpool whether to sell him. 2) Crystal palace has agreed to 32 mil and 120,000 per week for CB while West Brom has joined the race. Hopefully Liverpool can get rid of both. Defender Juanma might be next Liverpool signing. |
