When the subs come in we lose the clean sheet.
No idea why Mane was replaced with Wijnaldum and the game became worse when Sturridge came on for Lallana.
Seems we cannot play with a different strategy or formation.
Good news is the players are looking very fit thanks to the 3 sessions a day training.

Great game play by Liverpool, score could have been 8 or 9 easily. Sturridge was unlucky to hit the post twice!!!!

3 points n excellent goal difference advantage plus top of table!!! Could have kept a clean sheet too!

Can see the players are tired in 2nd half after the high intensity pressing..
This is something they need to work on it.

Wow, now that was worth watching! What a result and what a performance! Some excellent saves from Karius, Lucas and Matip were very good in defense and the midfield made it again look easy. As for the front line, well, how much silly grinning and drooling can be done in one season! Stunning football and the scary thing is we ain't anywhere near 100% yet!!

I'd also like to point out that today Liverpool broke the record for most shots on target since Opta stats began in 2003. This was stated on the BBC. That is just phenomenal, especially when you consider where we have been finishing in the league over the last two seasons!!

But I would like to end this post with a quote from our dear Juergen to inject a dose of cautious optimism least we forget that this is now only November and not May!!

‘I notice that lots of people are singing nice songs about us at the moment,’ Klopp wrote in his programme notes. ‘I mean those on the outside looking in, who talk about us and what might be possible or not. What is not allowed is that we lose focus or think beyond the next obstacle.’

That said, I for one Dare To Dream, because whatever happens come May I think we are finally on the start of a special journey under the guidance of Klopp!!

More details on the league table standings.

Pom thought that all clubs had played a total of 11 games and not some having played 10 as per your table.

Pom referred that to BBC report:

:p

What a treat to watch such a fantastic game. About time Liverpool played some excellent football under Klopp.

Reaching the summit is the bonus for fine play.

Mai hiam lah!

If start of the season, after 11 games Liverpool top the table, none of us will believe too. Also no pundits give us a chance.

Suddenly after 11 games, Liverpool players became world class.

Ah Gong is very happy with the team's performance. I cannot fault any Liverpool player. If Liverpool can play like this in every game Ah Gong no doubt Liverpool can qualify Champions League . Winning the title would be a bonus. But all please remain calm It is only 11 games played and still got 27 more games to go . Keep up the good work team . YNWA . :D

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

Yes all teams played 11 games.

I'm hoping Pool can manage well when Mane is away.

It's the unselfish way we are creating chances for each other that contribute to the whole team performance.

Firmino 07-11-2016 02:19 PM

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

When Mane is away there are a few possibilities.

Move Firmino to the right and get Sturridge to play up front. Or move Lallana right and Wijnaldum to play in midfield.

The first option makes us lose speed on the right side but we have a very hardworking player in Firmino. Sturridge needs to be sharp else he will keep smashing the post.

Second option we will lose Lallana's creativity and technical abilities in the heart of midfield. Henderson, Can and whoever is going to fill that role have to work harder.

Alternatively we purchase a player similar to our front 3 and at least one of them can get some rest.
