On my 3rd day (my 3rd night),i finally met with Sailor Moon herself,hehehe....but she got booked by a Malay bro from sillypore just before i step in. I was a bit late, and also bro A who booked the "sister" for consecutive 2 nights was one of the sailor moon girls. And Sailor Moon girls at most time will cost 1.2 mil, that guy (bro A) lucky to get it at 1.1mil. Just my luck, can see cannot book...lol. Quote:

I am drafting my next tekan session for the Dec trip. And i have briefed them how it's gonna be like. This trip i feel they didnt walk enough,so next trip if they still wish to join me,they will need to walk more and sweat more for a bonk. Very hard earn my money? Next trip, they wont get to earn it at all cos i dont plan on taxis (minimum),hehehe...:D Ok,jokes aside...i still prefer solo trips to Batam alone ,so next trip if others who wish to join me has to keep up with me as i wont be bringing anyone. You will be stalking me and not tagging. I'm going to use the one month of waiting to draw maps from now and to review what i have done right and wrong in all my 10 trips to Batam. I am heading to Penuin wet market,i am going Ex. Viet Camp AGAIN...and it will be 3D2N. (reasons will be spelled out in my summary in a few days time) No offence to anyone. Quote:

Perhaps thru the use of PM,you may wish to elaborate your experiences with me so that i can learn from it and set measure to prevent whatever bad happening to you will not happen to me? To me forum is about sharing of information,i pick up my Batam travel skills mostly from this part of the forum w/o knowing their language. The seniors make mistakes before,i learned not to make them when i read their posts. I make mistakes too,i share them here in hope that others reading it will not make them in future. It's actually a very good reminder from you and its being engraved in my mind now : "Just make sure that you not only NOT lose money/get taken advantage of, but more importantly, make sure you do NOT get involved/be inadvertently snared in scams that some pulls on your other friend(s), using your name/reputation etc." My most sincere thanks to you. Looks like i need to be extra careful in my posting in future,or else i may be mistakenly taken as being the "owner of Batam"...lol. Btw,i went to the Ex.Viet Camp in Pulau Galang, its a nice place which i plan to visit again in my next trip,i also have some photos to share about that place too.If you havent been there before,i believe it'll be worth your trip there, tho its said to be a haunted place. Will share more on this Ex.Vietnam Camp in my upcoming summary. :p Quote:

Re: Batam Info Thread
Made a short trip to this lovely island.
Stayed 1N at Hotel 89. Name makes me think of Sg crappy Hotel 81...but it is far off. :D Was quoted 70k a taxi from Batam centre to the hotel...but I only manage to cut down to 50k....and if not for the drizzle....maybe can go 40k. Book this hotel using an app....so pay only about 13sgd. Was reading up some reviews and comments about old n dirty rooms. But pleasantly surprise the corridor looks new...room looks new...bed was nice n clean...tile floor was clean....got good wifi. Breakfast no need coupon...just tell the attendant the room number. Spread wasnt attractive...but Im not a fussy eater. The two indo receps quite attractive...one looks sultry...the other was soft spoken n cute...but their english quite good. How good if can double fly them. http://i.imgur.com/1XACxJ9.jpg http://i.imgur.com/bWRfqVM.jpg Took my late lunch at a coffee shop nearby...indomie goreng....it is run by a chinese couple. Two packets mie goreng....egg....and a iced tea....only 16k rupiah!!! I heard wrongly thought is 20k....so give the chap 20k and walk off....he ran after me to return 4k....lol. He is quite helpful...tell the the direction to walk to Nagoya Hill Mall. anyway.. from my hotel room window..can see BCS mall nearby. As approaching Nagoya Hill Mall...saw the Bridge Massage as recommend by Bro Nono.... Went in and the lady boss in chinese....tell her i take the 100k traditional massage... Then remove shoe and ask me go Lvl 2. The cewek that help me store the shoe in cabinet looks cute n syt...thought it is going to be her. Lvl 2 room open space massage area and is seperate by curtain. Was assign a...not so nice looking auntie ML.... She was hardworking and offer good massage...no GQ pop up and I never ask...so pay her 20k tips before going out. Can hear a Singapore couple talking to each other during massage...lol. Proceed to Nagoya Hill mall to look see....it was Sunday...so crowded with locals and some Sinkie ppl. Walk back to hotel at 11pm....on the way...dabao...mie goreng...at a roadside stall. 10k nia. |

Re: Batam Info Thread
Had a good night rest....wake up for breakfast...while eating....it started to rain very heavily.
Waited inside my room for 1 hour watching TV....crappy signal...but it is Sharp Aquos...a bit wasted since such good quality TV. After rain stop, walk to nearby Dau Peh Kong Temple to offer my prayers. Looks like got a new temple coming up. http://i.imgur.com/EvsUkoT.jpg http://i.imgur.com/q9u9Wko.jpg Wanted to visit the massage centre at Lvl 3 of the hotel...but surpise got many kids running around...and it appears the patrons there are doing workout... drop the idea went back room...laze around and check out. Dunno suay or what...just walk out..drizzle comes again....was quoted 60k to batam centre...push down to 40k..but the driver refused...seeing the rain getting heavier....settle for 50k. Here ends my not so sexciting FR.:o |
