Still can be in top 4 if ee win the remaining 2 matches.
Arse doing us a favour |
Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Arsenal did Liverpool a big help. :p
The remaining 6 points are super important to Liverpool. |
Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
From the start, the line up was a big mistake already! Just don't understand why klopp is so keen on fielding lucas n origi?
lucas is good defensively but this match pool need all the attacking power, lallana should be playing from the start instead! origi has been poor lately, sturridge should be starting instead of origi. By the time lallana n sturridge came on, there were only 15mins remaining! Too late already! |
Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Totally drained man:(
Our last 2 matches of this season are going to be the death of me:D |
Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Klopp needs to improve the game and the next 2 matches will either break or make our transfer plans.
Lallana might not have been ready to play the full 90 minutes but Klopp needs to bring on players like him earlier. Sturridge should start instead of Origi. Anfield roared when Sturridge came on. This shows the love is still there and the fans pin hope on him to rescue the team when needed. The whole team must play as if their future depends on it. |
Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Looks like this week shall probably be the week of reckoning viz the Top 4 spot after Boro lost to Chelsea last night resulting in Boro's relegation.
By the time Liverpool play West Ham(a) on Sunday: Arsenal would have played out its 2 games in hand against Southampton(a) and Stoke(a) on Wednesday and Saturday respectively; and City would have played out its game in hand against Leicester(h) on Saturday. United plays against Spurs(a) also on Sunday but after Liverpool's match against the Hammers. The pressure will be extra immense on Liverpool if both Arsenal and City are victorious, more so if both their GDs shoot up as well. As an aside, spotted an interesting statistic as well - The last time both United and Arsenal failed to finish in the Top 4 was way back in 1979, 38 years ago! Its going to be a rocky roads nervy fingernail biting week! Really hope it does not end in heartache for us long suffering Reds fans though! Come on you Reds!! |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Liverpool has been given so many lifelines this season to move away fr the chasing packs, i.e. Messes MC, Arse n MU. Some of our rivals' screwed results favored us but we could not capitalize. If Pool fails to qualify for ECL so be it. They deserve to be KO if they do not treasure their chances. The footballing Gods up there hv been kind but they can only give that many chances.

How many of you would think that Liverpool would still be able to qualify for Champions League this season ? For me I don't think so .
