really cannot understand why you said this Trung Nguyen coffee is expensive...:confused:

Trung Nguyen sell coffee powder according to number 1 to 5 and 5 being most expensive at 65-70k dong per pack of 250gram...that is SGD 4.50...this pack you can make around 10 cups of coffee ie. 45cents per cup...if you put around 5 to 6 tea spoons...I usually put 8 tea spoons...:)

Trung Nguyen No. 1 sold for around 40k per 250gram packect...:)

in sinkie land...SGD 4.50 can buy you a cup of coffee at Starbucks...and cannot understand why you said Trung Nguyen coffee powder is expensive...:)

do you know you pay 45k-55k per coffee when you drink at Trung Nguen cafe, Highland cafe or most nice cafes in HCM...so not sure how cheap you want it to be...^^

haha...never heard of this coffee...and VND39k is not cheap...Trung Nguyen has one special around 40k for 500gram...but I prefer Trung Nguyen No. 5 which gives nice aroma...:)

Oh dear i think i got the price mix up, $4.50 for 250g is cheap. Because i purchase trung nguyen coffee powder in sg a few times which is more expensive, i always thought it is the same price in vietnam.

alo alo...haha...lidat also can ha...buy Trung Nguyen coffee powder here in sinkie land means you pay so many more levels and gst mark-up...hahaha...:)

even in wet nam...when you buy coffee powder the level of mark up is already how many times...

coffee bean seller mark up plus tax
Trung Nguyen manufacturer mark up plus tax
Retailer mark up plus tax

then in sinkie...you add more layers to it lol...:p

Why dun you buy cheaper Trung Nguyen Special...around 40K VND or SGD 2.50 for 500gram (half kilo)...:)

I also like no.5 for its aroma too, buy it once in HCM and thereafter at sg trung nguyen cafe. If i din rem wrongly sg have a different number labelling.
I will try the trung nguyen special next time becoz i consume alot of coffee. Tks.

oh wait...if you like Trung Nguyen No. 5 then you will not like Trung Nguyen Special...quality and taste is big different...once I tasted TN No. 5 no more going down to other numbers...the aroma and tastes was excellent...:)

Also like a cup of TN capuccino...here is the reason why...:)

I have not seen many here in sinkie land can do this well...certainly not Starbucks or Coffee Beans...^^

there is a trung nguyen cafe at a shopping center at clarke quay, that used to have daimaru, sells coffee powder also
