Do not forget the exchange rate differences. :) It is also part of the fee to make the charges appear to be low.

Changed RMB last nite at PP Complex.
The usual Chinese (under bridge) money exchanger for rmb was at 5.235 and was about 10 persons queing. Try my luck on the left was a Indian money changer with few counters, was offered at 5.23 but after bargain got it at 5.240 :) |

got a rate of 5.23 @ 7:30pm from one money changer who seems unwillingly as I think he have a slip of a tongue. :D the reat are all 5.22 or below. |

I think regardless of GE 2011 results, the SGD will slowly weaken again. They have probably been pushing it up all this time. After GE over, no more need to keep supporting it at peak levels. *Speculation only*
