As I've never tried this kind of hair removal before, do most shops that offer this also offer extra service/GQ? Excluding those really legit looking or branded ones. Or really depends from shop to shop?

Bro I feel its depending from shop to shop.. I think shop that does hair treatment and massage have a higher chance. Else prolly can check with the bros here if they have experience before.
