Myself had an affair with an office neighbor years ago. She threaten to complain to my boss if I break-up with her. Eventually I broke off with her due to her nonsense and she really went up to my boss. My ex-wife also went to my boss when I wanted to divorce her due to the above affair. I want to divorce my ex-wife because she is very revengeful and vicious too (family background).
My life is totally messed up because of them But my boss did not sack me. Maybe I'm one of the top salesman at that time. The drama lasted around 5 months and I had practically no mood to work. But my ex-boss still gives me chance. Maybe I had already achieve my sales quota and that's why did not terminate me. I stayed on for another year and hit double the required quota to repay his kindness. But I still left my ex-company. My ex-colleagues are nice and they didn't' mentioned anything. (maybe behind my back but I dont know and I don't care)
I was in some form illegal activities at that time and both my ex-fling and ex-wife reported me to the relevant authorities and I was prosecuted and charged in court. The investigation officer was surprised of me handling the situation well which I do not wish to elaborate. I had to start from basic all over again.
I did not blame my ex-wife at all because all this event will not happen if I did not cheat on her or betray her in the first place. And everything happens for a reason. I don't say I have no regrets but given a chance, I would not have cheated on her if I had seriously think of the consequences. But now, no use crying over split milk and life goes on.

To TS, move on and do not think of revenge and stood the same level as your ex. Life is bitterness for yourself if you cling on to it. No condemnation on your own too if you understand what I mean.
