Ts everyone have they own style of writing so no worries abt how u write most important is don't let it die halfway cos a full thread is hard to come by. And We all know how hard it is to actually write our own encounter/story(though I didn't post any of mine but thinking of how to start is already damn hard)so don't let comments bring u down just take it as constructive criticism. @zen. Good for u! I'm trying to quit too. Now down to 5 sticks per day. So a pack will last me 4 days.

1 thing I regret is that should write my whole story in mswords first then cut & paste whole thing 1 go. Now I must struggle to not be overwhelm by pressure of letting u guys down for waiting too long. This touch screen keyboard is making it tougher.

I can't believe these words came out of my mouth....

This time i saw it coming & managed to siam the slap. Couldn't believe i said something so corny. My words is exactly what I was thinking then. But Jermaine thinks I was joking and pulling her legs. In fact she finds it hilarious and laughed.

Me: "am I so harmless to you?"

Jermaine & I were comfortable with each other. She grab every opportunity to gloat me and wouldn't let me off without joking criticism at my slightest blunder. I in return criticize her wearing of loose fitting shirts that made her flat chest even flatter & her mis-matched bra & panties colors. (this one slap the hardest...). Speaking of that....That was a day when i approached her desk just as she was rotating on her chair to reach the cabinets behind. You guys can imagine yourselves trying to turn on an office chair u'd move one leg to drag your body with the chair to gain momentum? Yeah. U guess it, i saw a glimpse of her lacy white panties. She saw me coming so I quickly ripped my eyes off what I'd be rather staring that moment and smile back. Damn, recalling it now is still erotic, dun know why since I had later on progressed further at this.

Later on downstairs, I stood beside her in a serious tone: "you cannot be angry with me for telling u this....can u turn anti-clockwise instead to reach behind you?"

Jermaine was halfway lighting her cigarette when she paused and stared in bewilderment: "shit! U saw!"

Frankly, I was quite taken then that she figured in out in that 2 secs. That means she saw me, maybe in a split seconds, staring down just before our eyes locked. Yet was too fast she couldn't be sure. Thinking back, was glad I told her then.

Me: "Cho-to cho-to cho-to. U promised wouldn't be angry leh!"

Jer: "i'm not. Shit man!......tell me what u see."

Me: "wahlau, u every morning every evening also see yet u ask me what I see?! Dun believe nevermind"

Jer: "Really can see har? Shit man."

Me: "that's why I quickly walked away. I'm telling u so u would be careful in future." (but in fact I wished I had my phone camera ready.)

She kept quite, blushed and her doe eyes looked thankful. I tried to ease her awkwardness: "so u dun cause more ppl nose bleed."

She laughed and slapped my arm lightly. And so that's why I know her bra & panties were mis-matched

We scheduled our break & lunch thru sms so that we dun seems so close as to stepped out together every time. At first it's "smoke?" "what to eat?" "my car or your car?". Then it slowly grown to gossip bout colleagues. In short, we would SMS during work hours about everything & nothing. Thou as an unspoken rule, we never SMS after office hours or weekends. Guess we both know, like I mentioned earlier, we were married but not to each other. We just managed to click well.

Then one day, as I was walking pass her desk for our regular break, I noticed she didn't smile. (I really dun understand what's on my face but she always smile so gleefully when she sees me the first time everyday like some long lost friends). With a sullen face, she followed me out. We were not alone in the lift, we just kept quiet all the way til we sat at the bench and lit our cigarette.

After a long while, i lit up another stick: "u wanna talk bout it"

Jermaine was silent. She took out a cigarette and I promptly lit up for her.

Me: "if u r ready. I'm ready"

Jer: "let's go out of cbd for lunch. U drive."

Well, under normal circumstances I'd say things like come back erp u pay. But that day is not normal. We went back to my desk after the smoke break and i kept thinking bout what could have happened.

Before long, it's 1pm. We had lunch somewhere off tanglin. i was caught off guard when she ordered a draught in the middle of a working day. But just to go along, i ordered the same telling myself just 1 should be fine. (i was driving, remember?). After a awkwardly quiet entrée, she passed me her phone. It's an sms exchange with her husband. I shall not go onto details here, but basically he's asking how much jermaine have, when is the next payday, any shares she's holding that can sell.

Me: "money problem?"

Jer: "more like gambling problem!"

Me: "the new casino? Apply NCPG loh"

Jer: "it's useless. He travels a lot for work, so he can still go overseas casinos."

Thru our conversation, i learnt that she's from quite a well-to-do family. So the main problem is not lack of money, it's her husband incorrigible habits.

Jer: "actually, I'd been drinking lately. After i tuck my daughter to bed I'd go to the park near by place to drink."

Me: "gosh. A gorgeous lady alone drinking in the park in the middle of the nite?! Safe or not?"

Jer: "1 or 2 cans wouldn't get me drunk. Besides there r quite a few ppl jogging."

Me: "Your husband not worried"

Jer: "he run his own accountant practise. Wake late work late. So I'm home before him. But than even he knows, he couldn't be bothered."

i dunno what to say then. She had 2 bottles of beer & not in a very moody state. I shouldn't be riding on others unhappiness. But as jermaine stared into the emptiness in deep thoughts, her frowning together with her perfectly shaped high arch brows made her look so sexy. And I shouldn't get started with her drinking from the bottle.....damn.

Me: "think u can go back to work? Why not u call in sick, go home & have a rest? I'll pick u up on my way to office tomorrow so u don't worry bout leaving your car in office."

She nodded. I settled the bill then drove her home. It's broad daylight, she wasn't drunk. So i just dropped her at her block, watched her entered the lift and went back to office myself. Alone in my car, can't help but wonder if I should send her all the way to her place. Maybe it's not convenient, but most importantly, she didn't ask. Or maybe she was waiting for me to offer. Argh...what the hell! Dun think dun think. It's not possible.

Me: "small issue lah. At least he's not seeing other woman."

Jer: "unless some other woman got so much money to dump on him."

Me: "hahah. On a bright side, at least he didn't hit u."

Half hour later.... Me: "or did he?"

Another half hour later. Jer: "pls keep my personal life a secret."

What bothered me then is the fact that my million dollar question still unanswered. Somehow, I already know the answer....

I tried to divert the topic with a bit of humour: "what? Did you say anything to me?"

Jer: "haha. I'm glad I know u. Take care see u tomorrow"

Me: "me too. Take care & have a nice rest. Dun stay out too late. be a good girl and drinks on me next time."

From then on, jermaine is more opened to me bout her personal life. Time & again she'd remind me to keep her problem a secret. She spoken to no one as she confessed she wanna keep a happy family image to her team colleagues and even her boss. I couldn't remember how long she said she's been married, but it was 10years ago when she meet her husband. She describe him as very 'kuw lan' & 'te ki'. Thought he would changed after becoming a dad but still the same. Sometimes she would show me her sms quarrel with her husband. When we can afford longer lunchtime, we went from fine diners to kopi tiam for beer or wine. Thru all her bitching, I sincerely felt for her. There wasn't any real solution. She wasn't really looking for one from me. I just offered her my ears...
