There was a report over local Chinese radio that Prc Police arrested some men in Hubei who hacked into Wechat accounts & tried to con Singapore men described above. There was one Malaysian man who was caught by Singapore Police when he used fake beautiful women photos to add Wechat men at People Nearby option trying his luck conning gullible men. Now we have scam warnings everywhere. Hdb lift lobby, tv CrimeWatch, Facebook SPF & crime prevention council, websites scamalert.sg and police.gov.sg . Be alert. Be safe!
