why ask in geylang about rowell when there's a thread about desker/rowell ? aniwae, which part were u @ rowell ? they are just behind the gates, walk along the shophouses corridor to spot them in the evening from 8-1am. maybe they have moved, its been a few months since i last visited rowell.

the other night, around 2am i drove down lor 16, saw these two really beautiful sistas, very slim, tall and looks like malay, one of them smiled and waved at me and i nearly crash my car. They were walking towards the main road so i wonder if they were just walking through or applying their trade there as i read that only chinese and thai sistas frequent there. Bro timhii30, Geylang is a bit of a lottery. Sometimes you go early, like 10ish big selection; sometimes later hardly anything. The local LBs, mainly Malay sometimes come out around 10. The "regulars", mainly Thai, some so so looking only are usually always there. IMHO, if you see something interesting just go ahead and take, they may not be there the next time. And if the service is good ask for the phone number for the future. :)

Have to agree with Bro 2WayStreet. It's a real pity the trans didn't make an effort to make Lor 16 their own. About a year ago the beginning and end of Lor 16 you could get Thai trans and the middle you could get the local trans.
Nowadays the OKTs with their Thai girls are occupying the centre of the road.
The local trans used to come in late, 9 plus. So the OKTs occupied their spot and in the end chased them away. So, in a way, the local trans got themselves to blame. :confused:
BTW one Sunday 11am plus, saw 2 trans standing near the Geylang main road end - looked and sounded like Filipino! Could be wrong, can anybody confirm?
