bro Nono, thanks for your reply. This will be my first trip back to Batam in 8 years. I have stayed before in 5 or 6 different hotels including Fomosa at least 4 times. Why I book Sentosa? Sentimental reasons lah. I stayed there with friends in 2002 and would like to go back and see the place.

I will be travelling alone and walking from there to Nagoya Hills, etc is not a problem for me. My intention is to try the full service at Delta Spa. However, if someone can tell me that Sentosa Hotel can offer a good massage service, then I will try it before going out to the pick up joints.

Anyway, will take your advise and write an FR of my trip there and my stay at the hotel.

if want to stay at residential houses in Batam, need to go to the

Police Station/Kiosk to register our stay is it correct?

Was going to stay there for a week in a friend's house, my friend(indon)

told me it is call lapor datang, she also not very sure, so hope to find

some answer before going there, thanks in advance.

Super long weekend with an attached Public Holiday is called Super Peak season in Batam for me.Those time,even if my frens pay for my Hotel room and Ferry ticket,i also need to think thrice.

Read the post/s where you find "SYT on the right side" again,and its previous last 10 posts.You should have no problem finding the name of that place. After that bring the name of that place here so that bros who knows can help answer you.

For what i know and base on my limited experience,most if not all joints/MP has their SYTs seated on the right hand side (most time). So your question becomes like "where sells Australia Red Apple on the right hand side" to me and i can only answer you MOST of Batam Supermarket and mini-mart sells Australia Red Apples have them on the right hand side.

Yes, by right, that is the law of the land. Any foreigners going into Indonesia and not residing in hotels are supposed to register at a police station with the house owner so that they have a record of where u are staying. This is supposedly to protect your interest and your safety..

By left, hardly anyone does it anymore, especially in a place like batam... It is more prevalent if u are staying in ulu kampungs...

I am arriving Nagoya tomorrow for work but am free until the next day around 2pm. I booked a room at the Harmoni in the NED. I would like to get in a couple bonks (or massages + bonks) during the day.

I do not think any ceweks are in the NED pubs before dark or the EWP/bar fine will be high. If anyone knows a good place to go for an AM honking, I'd appreciate your wisdom!

Thanks Fishingman. There are several M.E. across from Formosa when looking from hotel. Which one gave you the better rate. I am arriving Thursday for an overnighter so happy to buy you a beer if you recommend a good NED hangout to meet!
