i have stayed in Satria and the new Wiko hotel, both in my opinion are average only. dun quite like these kind of hotels..

u can go alishan at farmosa hotel (can book ceweks)
or book a ktv room at pacific disco (can hook FLs) :D

Hi Bro, Normally on my trips to Balai i patronise the miramar hotel. They have bathtubs and carpeted floors, but because it's only four storeys, They don't have a lift. It's between $20 to $30 sing dollars depending on whether it's a weekend or weekday.

Or may want to try out Palapas hotel. They're a little bit more upper class. There's bathtub, carpeted floors and a lift. The breakfast is also quite good. The price range between $25 to $35 sing dollars.

For VIPs at Pasifik, do book early as they're very pack nowadays since Planet closed for renovation. For last week, I book 4 days beforehand and it was their last room available. Can forget about having VIPs with balcony unless you book a week beforehand.
