Hi all,

I volunteer with an organisation that conducts regular outreach to the ladies at OT. If you've seen some people going around giving out stuff and checking in with the ladies before, one of them may have been me.

Ya Ya contacted me earlier tonight to tell me that she found out about this thread (this is my first time on SBF) and all the photos of her and her fellow working ladies. She also showed me a picture of a young man in a shirt, berms, and sling bag whom she thinks has been posting some of these photos, as captured on their shop CCTV. Some of the ladies have gotten quite upset over the photos that clearly show their faces, as they feel it might threaten their livelihoods, families, and personal safety if family members such as their husbands or children were to find out about them. Let's also not forget the former OT massage worker who was abused and eventually killed by her husband (who then committed suicide) after he found out about her work: https://www.channelnewsasia.com/news...r-says-9259884

Ideally, they would like the photos to be taken down, but most importantly they just do not want their faces to be shown. I understand that many of you use this thread to exchange references and reviews about their services, but could you do that without exposing their identities, e.g. with shop locations, physical descriptions, pictures that do not reveal their faces, etc.?

I've noticed that in other threads, the providers' faces are not shown, e.g. cropped out or blurred out. I've also noticed that some users here have asked for clients' faces not to be shown, and some photos featuring potential clients also have had their faces removed. I understand and respect your need for personal privacy as clients, and I'm sure many of you also feel the same way about the freelance providers. Could we extend the same courtesy to the massage ladies as well, please? :)
