Brazil v Belgium - great game and what a performance by Belgium both attack in first half and defending in the second half. Kevin de Bruyne finally comes good, solid defending by Vertonghen and Fellaini.

Lots of City stars on both sides of the field but the ones in Red performed better.

Neymar and Coutinho looked haunted at the end and Alisson failed to show that he is worth anywhere near £70m. Think Tite's team really missed Casemiro.

So happy for Roberto Martinez and his golden generation boys. Hope to see them go all the way now. Pity the final is not Belgium v France though as both sides seem to be best in this tournament. Still the semi final is going to be a cracker.

Back to the Reds.

Good start to pre-season with a 7-0 win against Chester. Seems like Naby was ace, Milner solid and Sturridge turning back the clock with a class performance.

If only Daniel was not made of glass?!

He has been impressive in the defensive midfield role for England. :D

I'm a fan of Sturridge and his 2013/2014 season deserves some respect from fans.

Also, his 10 goals in 14 Premier League matches in 2012/2013 season when he joined in January which many fans forgot. ;)

Unfortunately, his injuries have gotten the better of him. :p
