I would like to see if we can beat the record for clean sheets in a season held by Petr Cech or even equal Pepe Reina's record. :cool:

If we can sign Croatia defender Domagoj Vida then I think Liverpool will be ready for title challenge.

The puzzle still aint complete(wonder if it ever will be?!) and by the latest media reports it looks like that's it folks, no more new signings. The only transfer activity now shall be with regards to our out box.

Also a real pity about the Ox's injury condition. A lot now riding on Lallana being the creative force. Perhaps Shaqiri can add a bit of spice as well. Also Keita's dynamic box to box movement will be vital. On the striker's front, wonder if Klopp is prepared to take one final gamble on Sturridge as Origi really cannot make it and Solanke still seems too raw. Positives thus far seem to be the lads Curtis and Camacho.

All in all, think our spine is finally there but we still lack a creative#10 and an adequate reliable back up for Firmino. So i think we can challenge for the title but shall probably fall short(hope not by much). We should also go far in the CL. Dont give a shit about the domestic cups, let Karius and the rest of squad players deal with this.

Finally really hope Achterberg does not poison Alisson!!

Alisson is Liverpool's fourth major signing since they finished the 2017-18 season fourth in the Premier League and were beaten by Real Madrid in the Champions League final.

Brazil midfielder Fabinho, 24, has joined from Monaco in a deal which could be worth more than £40m, while Guinea midfielder Naby Keita, 23, has moved to the Merseyside club from German side RB Leipzig in a £48m deal.

Liverpool have also signed Switzerland forward Xherdan Shaqiri, 26, from Stoke City after triggering his £13m release clause.

In addition, 26-year-old forward Salah - who has scored 44 goals in 52 appearances for the club - signed a new five-year contract this summer.

His price went up from 10m to 30m after the WC.
Liverpool had 2nd bid of 20m rejected..... his club asking for minimum 30m to open negotiations.

Sell the world best then buy world 2nd, 3rd or 4th best. :D

Sell SM, Klavan, Moreno, Wijnaldum, Markovic, Grujic, Lallana, Origi, Ings, Sturridge... should have another 100 mil to spend. :D

Sturridge looked good yesterday against Blackburn so he'll be good back up from the bench with Solanke.
