My grand uncle was a Beatles fanatic. When he passed away we could not understand why he had several purple suits and outfits in his wardrobe which we had never seen him wearing them before while helping my grandmother to clear his barang barang. Until our granny explained they were souvenirs from the tea dance parties in their teenage years when the Beatles were everyone's no 1 idols.

Not that I like their music..... and I always thought purple was a gay colour.

If Karius leaves.... then Liverpool got no more backup goalie if Mignolet accept Barca offer.
They already lost Danny Ward and Andy Firth...... only Academy goalie Grabala left.

Unless both SM and Karius leave Liverpool then maybe a 3rd tier or youngster GK might want to try his luck n join Liverpool. Either Karius or SM stays in Liverpool, then the newly join GK will be 3rd choice while Becker will be the auto 1st choice.

The youngsters looked good in the game! Give them more game time , ah kloop ! Just sell the mc King la...some of these young lads are good enough for back up! Knn..120k a week sit there do nothing !:D

Just read the media reports on our game against City.

Very pleased to see Salah carry on where he left off last season, welcome back Egyptian Pharoah:cool:

Mane seems to be in quite good form.

Looks like Grujic and Gomez were quite solid.

Also happy to see our youngsters - Curtis, Camacho, Phillips and Kelleher - put on a good show.

Apparently we had quite a lot of chances to score in the 2nd half. Hopefully our execution and finishing sharpens up by the start of the season.


Downside, Karius looked wrecked on high balls, confidence still low.


All in all, not a bad work out on what seems to be an awful pitch messed up by Taylor Swift:D
