Anyone can say anything and Neymar said "Liverpool will not finish top 4 in EPL this season".

Lallana out of England squad with groin injury. Damage to be assessed.

Liverpool have Shaqiri in to do game management trying to waste some time at the corner flag to win.

After the international break will be defining 22 days for Liverpool. Anyway all teams playing in Europe will face the same fate and those playing in Europa League will be playing Thursday and Sunday/Monday PL.

The field will be level.

Gomez saved Liverpool at least £50 million in transfer fees if he continues to play center back.

Congratulations to Andrew Robertson for being made team captain of Scotland:cool: So happy for him and shows we have a few leaders in our team now!

On Lallana, in the first place i dont understand why Southgate even selected him since Adam has only made a single match sub appearance thus far this season:confused: Really miss the Ox:(

Adrien Rabiot anyone:D?!

Massive one if we can eventually seal the deal:cool: Big IF though because loads of other big clubs shall be after him as well:eek:

Liverpool have reportedly been in touch with Adrien Rabiot's agent regarding the possibility of a free transfer next summer.

According to ESPN FC's Julien Laurens, the Reds have made contact with his mother, who is also his agent, while manager Jurgen Klopp has spoken to the midfielder over the phone.

Update on Lallana's latest injury;)

Adam Lallana will be available to play again this month after a scan revealed the groin strain he sustained in England training on Tuesday to be minor.

The Liverpool midfielder withdrew from the Three Lions squad as a result of the issue, which is expected to sideline the 30-year-old only for the short-term.

Lallana should therefore come back into contention for the Reds before the end of September as they start their campaigns in the Champions League and Carabao Cup and resume action in the Premier League.

“It’s a minor setback, which isn’t ideal, as I’ve been in great shape until now, but it’s positive news that it’s only a brief lay-off,” the No.20 told Liverpoolfc.com.

“I’m pleased I’ll be back available for Liverpool, both domestically and in the Champions League during September, and then England again for the next break.

“I know I can make a significant contribution over the course of a long season and that’s where my focus will remain – with so much to play for.

“Doing my best and giving everything for my teammates, management and supporters of club and country is all that matters.”

Lallana also wished Gareth Southgate and England the best of luck as they prepare to host Spain in the UEFA Nations League at Wembley on Saturday and Switzerland in a friendly at the King Power Stadium next week.

“I’m back at Melwood now making sure my time off the pitch is as short as possible, so I’ll be supporting Gareth and the boys from up here,” he added.Melwood now making sure my time off the pitch is as short as possible, so I’ll be supporting Gareth and the boys from up here,” he added.

News that Fabinho still waiting for his debut because he cannot understand English.

Klopp insists all his players to speak and understand English. Surprise when Klopp arrived at Liverpool Moreno cannot speak English.

I rather not believe the news but the manager himself.
Klopp has said in his interview that Fabinho is a very good player but he needs to understand the Liverpool system of play. His previous club plays in a different style so Fabinho had to learn from scratch how to work with the rest of the team. This takes time and how soon Fabinho is ready to be fielded depends on how quick he can absorb the tactics and adapt to them. Klopp does not want to put a timeframe because it would only put Fabinho under unncessary pressure.

I trust Klopp's version rather than some media reports.
Can listen to Klopp's interview on LFC video.

Tite did us a favour by not playing our 3 guys against EL Salvador, good on you Tite:cool:

Hope this gives Alisson, Firmino and Fabinho a boost before Saturday.

Must say though looks like Everton have got a real star in the making with Richarlison who scored a brace and won a pen in that match!

Also read that Shaqiri had a great game against England despite Switzerland losing. TAA and Henderson had good run outs as well.

Quite a lot for Klopp to ponder over in the next few days;)

Tomorrow's match is winnable..... Spurs no Loris, no Ali, no Kane. :p

Odds in favour of Liverpool have been tumbling as they become the favourites and Spurs the underdog.
