Odds in favour of Liverpool have been tumbling as they become the favourites and Spurs the underdog.

Tonight game is likely to be high scoring ..... minimum 4 goals :p

Difficult match, anyone who thinks otherwise does so at their own peril.

Really hope Kieta starts because Milner/Gini/Henderson threesome cmi against the likes of Eriksen/Dier/Dembele(Wanyama).

Also a lot riding on Mane/Firmino/Salah getting back to speed and being clinical with finishing.

Win still possible but tbh i would be happy with a draw, all things considered.

That said i will be over the moon if we are still at the top of table come Monday:D

P.S. Think Kane gong to start lah!

An interesting game for sure..
Two teams raring to go and prove themselves.
I suspects tactics will play a big part in victory; just hope Klopp does not stay with his standard midfield "gang".
History has shown that Spurs can be surprised and disturbed in the middle of the field..

Excellent win by Pool. Important 3 points to pull ahead.

Some wasted chances by Mane n Salah but Vorm was good too. Hope Firmino is ok.

Next game playing PSG would see how good we are.

Important Liverpool won 3 pints. A fixture lost 4-1 last season.

Excellent three points but we should have had at least 4 goals!!

Klopp should have a word with some players as greed is creeping in, Mane and Salah being the culprits! Imagine if Son got a penalty and it sure looked like one caused by Mane's kick. It would have been a wasted 2 points instead.

Ironically looks like we shall not be top of the league come Monday as i expect Chelsea to thrash Cardiff and who knows maybe Watford shall also clobber United?!!

As for the game - i think Milner was outstanding closely followed by Gini, Virgil. Gomez and Robertson were also solid.

Salah is clearly struggling - he needs to up his game - i will not be surprised if he gets "rested" in the near future if this carries on.

Anyways enough moaning and critcism from me! Absolutely chuffed by this win which is a massive statement!! 5 wins on 5 matches. Can't really ask for more.

Bring on PSG and that arrogant crybaby Neymar next!!

P.S. Hope Firmino's eyes are ok!

Maximum points but the performance could have been better. Chelsea is good and more competition from other teams.

We will need to do better. Keep more clean sheets and score more goals.

Thank goodness it was just an abrasion to Firmino's eye. Roberto is ok and may even be available on Tuesday. Really hope so, vital player to us.

YNWA Roberto:cool:

P.S. Unfortunately i was right about Chelsea and wrong about Watford:D

Boy, good game but would have been great if only the missed chances had been put away.
Level on points but below Chelsea on GD...
If only!

A long season in front..

World's best defender not playing, that is the difference. Don't worry, like the Terminator would say, he would be back!
Jokes aside, the Reds wants it more than Spurs in last night game. Spurs a pale shadow of the side compare to last 2 seasons, probably have plateaued with no new signings.
Speaking of new signings, glad to see Naby Keïta back in starting 11 again with a ok performance and finally Fabinho on the bench again instead of Lallana. Real test would in the next 3 weeks, agst the big boys of PSG, Chelsea and Man City. Then we can see whether Ah Klopp would finally win his 1st sliverware for the Reds this season or still the same old end result of sorrow and pain for the fans.

Pool must work on finishing the teams off in the 2nd half instead of always conceding late goals n hanging to a narrow lead. The defence needs 200% concentration in the last 10mins.
As we could see yesterday, Salah was getting a bit desperate for goals n became selfish as a result.
Overall a good win yesterday n luckily the ref did not see Mane's foul on Son which was an obvious penalty.

That cancels out last season's penalty at Anfield when it shouldn't be given :D
