Always welcome. Must warn that I am about 3 months out of date for Batam having relocated out of Spore for nearly a year and only making visits to there whenever I visit Spore which is rare over the last 12 months.

Hi Dex,
Actually this forum is very good.
It teaches you alot of things and be smart.
When I chiong Batam 4 years ago, i didn't know about this forum.
So I learn through the hard way and lucky to have a local friend there to help.

Hopefully, you can learn something here so that won't kenna chop.

From the FR, i can walk into Serdona and select the ceweks. How to make use the cewek I selected pass legal age. Am I oblige to tip PAPASAN?

It is my first lone trip to BT and I just to make sure I do not offend anyone and damage Singaporeans reputation. I want to be discret - just want to experience it. I do not see myself as regular in BT. My last trip was many years ago!!

You can walk into Sedona or any other booking joint and pick up any of the ceweks. I always think its best to sit down with the picked cewek and "interview" first before confirming & leaving (perhaps over a drink - voluntary not compulsory) and you can always ask to see her KTP (ID card) to verify her age.

Tip Papasan? None of us has ever tipped a mami or papasan ! Its not necessary as she makes her part of the deal from the house already.

If you feel generous, you can tip anyone you feel like!

This may help you to foster a better relationship so that you can book the hot girls before you arrive esp on Sat mornings by phone which is what a lot of regulars do!

Actually, we used to book the hot girls directly to their mobiles. Provided they are hot overall!

I will adopt your method to buy a drink first and slowly scan the ceweks before I decide to take to my hotel. As I am alone there, I am hoping to find a nice and hot girl to take me around shopping, eating and bonking.

Maybe, the next trip, I will know where to find hot girls and hope to get some phone number to pre-arrange the girls to come to my hotel. Cheers

Haha Paisay Bros..maybe the thing not happen on mi so my FR kinda of Blur blur..Short to say,the girl kept him outside his hotel room for 2 times and she went back at nite..around 9+ telling the other chewek that since my friend not happy her staying there den she go back :o and as wat we know..my chewek tell mi is that she is hungry,tell my frd she hven eat lunch but due to communication breakdown,my frd dun know..so we joke around saying tt"Of course la,she tell u wan to eat,u dun care den keep bonking her" hahaha..So the moral of the story is,communication is important and finding SYT at your own Risk :eek:

In another thread, bestbest asked about eating place in Batam, Waterfront City.

Here's my reply.

1) In Waterfront area, just in front of Holiday Inn Hotel, there are some shop houses there, go to the last rows facing the sea, somewhere in the middle, there is this cafe/pub called QUEEN'S, they have BBQ buffet dinner every Wed and Sat nites. For S$15 per head, you get steak, lamb chop, chicken wings and satay, seafood + salad, eat all you want.

2) Seafood, there are also 2 seafood restaurants in Waterfront, one is also at the shophouses in front of Holiday Inn Hotel. Name is Delima, nice food but VERY expensive, personally I won't go there for my food, cut throat prices.
The other one is located on a kelong in between the ferry terminal and Harris Hotel. So so food and prices.
Actually, Waterfront City is now a place where you go for Seafood.

3) There's a new Korean restaurant SOUL GARDEN just opened in town, located in BCS Mall. Hotplate and steamboat buffet style. Pay something like Rp.69k per head and eat all you want/can. Very good and nice food selection, good value for money if you are a big eater, especially if you love beef. I was there last night, and I love it!!!
At the same time, after that can also do some shopping in this big mall to digest away your heavy makan.

4) New makan place which I mentioned here earlier, the Pujasera (open air food court) directly next to Harbor Bay ferry terminal. Nice place for dinner/food and beer. More info in my earlier posting in this same thread.
