Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
I'm beginning to feel UEFA is rubbish.
Man City failed to receive a transfer ban and now look at their CL group. |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Can't really complain with our draw in Group E. Think Salzburg have Korean and Japanese players which should make it interesting to watch. Napoli away is always tough and tricky but all in we should get through, hopefully at the top:)
Group F looks like the group of death:eek: Followed by Group D. Think Chelsea's Group H is also a tough one. As for City's Group C, looks like they always seem to get the luck of the draw:rolleyes: That said hopefully the longer trips to Ukraine and Croatia shall tire them out more before their EPL weekend fixtures. Finally congrats to VVD(hopefully the ballon d'or is next) and Alisson. One worry though, I gather Alisson was not moving freely when he went up to receive his award last night. Looks like he might be out longer than we think?:( |
Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Interesting to see the list and the points accumulated. Gives me an idea of which players I should note and hope we buy in future. The list of Champions League 2018/19. Not really reported in detail in the news. Wijnaldum is quite well rated I feel. VVD winning Fifa player of the year is a really good possibility.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Hoping for a 4-1 win.
So far this season, Liverpool's matches are played at either 3 am or 12.30 am. Quite tiring to stay up to support. |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Very impressed with how Liverpool in the first half wiped away Burnley at their own game by simply going long and winning the 2nd balls. The 2nd half was just a matter of consolidating and managing the game and securing our first clean sheet. We are Top of the League for a very good reason.
Nice to see healthy competition between players hungry to score(Mane & Salah). Much being made about the Mane reaction by both mainstream & social media. Aguero fuming at Pep during Spurs game, still scoring happily. Passion happens. Class football from Liverpool. Special mention for Fabinho, some player. Found it strange he was not included in the UEFA awards top midfield category. Also props to Adrian, first clean sheet and slowly coming into his own. Hope Henderson's injury is not a serious one. That and all our lads on international duty comeback healthy and fit for the next more intensive part of the season. Finally VVD still keeping a cool calm head by stating post match that "we have not won anything as yet". |
