Overall a very good performance by the team, even Lovren did a very good job.

Not converting the early chances nearly caused us the game, 1-0 scoreline was always going to be nervy!

Again introduction of Divock Origi created the chance for Mane in the last minute.

Hopefully Salah is ok from his ankle injury. 2 weeks rest should be good before the next game at Old Trafford.

Jurgen Klopp said he could not enjoy Liverpool's late win over Leicester after Hamza Choudhury's foul forced Mohamed Salah to hobble off.

This guy should get a red-card.

Brendan Rodgers disagreed with the penalty call.

Not sure when he ever learn?

Not only did Brendan say that was not a penalty he even had the cheek to say that Leicester perhaps even deserved a win, really don't know what game he was watching, behave will yah:rolleyes::D

All I can say is that the Reds are Mentality Monsters:cool:

Pity Lovren and VVD did not score from their headers. Would have made a big difference. I feel goals from our centrebacks are what we are missing now. Hyypia scores plenty. Skrtel too.

that challenge on Salah was unnecessary but then Salah went off and Origi send that pass to Mane. :D:D

if that contact Albrighton made with Mane from behind did not warrant a penalty, then how about the penalty that was awarded to Napoli when there was not even any contact???

Anfield is still the fortress and Rodgers know that.

Spurs will have several players leaving soon after their recent performances. Hope we get Son Heung Min!!!

Another below average performance.
Missing chances and unable to finish chances.
We are riding on luck and if our performance does not improve we will pay.

Wow, Nuno & his boys really showed how to defend and counter attack against City:cool:

Think City really missed KDB this time though.

However let's not get overly excited here, its only October and there are still 90 points up for grabs;)

Their Captain is born in Liverpool and was in our youth teams. Played twice for us too. He will be a hero when he returns to Liverpool. Should have been 4-0. They missed 2 good chances in the first half.

Let's build up a big lead now! :p

Weston brought in new stock of the black and gold goalkeeper jersey. Get them while stocks are available. Strangely the goalkeeper L size is bigger than the red (home) and white (away ) jersey. Longer

Dun forget Liverpool were also leading by 8 pts during X'mas last season...... and still ended up losing to Man City by 1 pt.

It's too early to celebrate....... I will wait until the last game.

yes still a long way to go. let's see the table standings come December.

crucial game will be against Man City where we can stretch the lead even further.

but like VVD says, we'll take each game as it comes.

Pep still think he can catch Liverpool.

Anyway still 30 match days to come. Liverpool can only win their own games and rest not important.

Liverpool go 8 points clear after City lose to Wolves, Newcastle beat United which lifts Newcastle above Everton leaving Everton in the bottom three. Celtic lose putting Stevie Gs Rangers top of the SPL. The weekend that just keeps on giving, sweet:D

As for the big picture, we need to remain calm and BELIEVE:cool:
