Just because JK choose to field some kids does not make it an academy match..... it is still a match at 1st team level.

Whatever u think it is.. You can have your own opinion and I can have mine too, no right n no wrong.
It does not matter as long as Pool wins! Imo Pool did not field the 1st eleven for the Everton match. :D

Football is a team game and Liverpool has 22 players registered as 1st team players.... including those kids who played in that Everton derby.

To me, Pool fielded an almost 2nd team that night n they beat Everton's 1st team.
That was the best achievement.
Nat Phillips got recalled back to the team due to a shortage of defenders.

Spurs have crisis with many key players injured.
I think Liverpool will steamroll over them.

Spurs 0-3 Liverpool

This is how I feel.

Everything points to us winning this, as Spurs are not in great form, leaking goals, have got injuries including Kane being out...but its Jose and he delights in spoiling our fun and unfortunately has been successful at it too.

When we drew at OT earlier this season, Mourinho was still in his pundit role(actually did a great job) and while giving his analysis he appeared to be almost salivating at United's approach with the back 3 and how their WB's pushed up and nullified our FB's etc. I could see him employing similar tactics, getting 2 DM's in front of the back 3 and trying to suffocate us.

We should have too much, but you know that wily old fox Jose will have a dastardly tricky plan!

Oh yeah, not forgetting that f@#king sh*t Martin Atkinson has been appointed as referee, which shall probably turn up the 'spoil fun' factor!

Yes...Jose also being the master tactician he'll go all out to stop Pool from winning! Still remember that SG slipped up in the 0-2 defeat @ Anfield. It still hurts!
Wouldn't really mind getting a draw with Spurs tomorrow.

Is up to the lads to get a result.

Until mathematically impossible to catch then fans can celebrate.

From now on, I am keeping my fingers crossed.

From the remaining players in his injury hit squad....... you think he has the players to carry out his plan?
I think he would be grateful just to have 11 fit players to field a team.

He can always do what he did at Old Trafford. Play with 11 "defenders". Man Utd mustered 0 shots at the Liverpool goal in that game and played almost the entire game with all 11 players inside their own half.... and he won a point in the final result 0-0.

I suspect he will employ the same strategy for tonight's match.

Rubbish second half. Which is a shame as I thought the way we dealt with Spurs in the first half was great. Very mature.

3 points is all that matters though.

Big shout outs to: Alisson - his handling and positioning are absolutely incredible; Wijnaldum was imperious; and by the way, it has to be said, the Lallana sub probably won us that game. Also, you don’t realise just how influential a Milner sub is, until it’s not available.

Oh yeah, Atkinson is awful, truly awful, as is Martin Tyler:mad:

Best start ever in the English top flight! Also best ever start across all 5 top European leagues! History made yet again this evening by our Redmen:cool:

BELIEVE, the Journey continues, enjoy the ride.
