well full steam ahead for the PL title. no more excuses not to set more records.

The lads played well and Adrian mistake cost the team.

Then AM second goal sealed the tie as Liverpool caught out.

To be honest it was a good game for us until the mistake.
AM had a world class goalkeeper but we managed to score twice and I feel if our world class goalkeeper was playing we would have progress to the next stage.
Disappointed but like I said before we knew this will happen.
Klopp was clearly not pleased the way AM played.

That's the main difference between a top class keeper n a mediocre one! One will performed heroics while the other will fumbled @ the crucial moment!
More or less I had this feeling Pool would be knocked out sooner or later, can't be reaching 3 finals consecutively!

If Atletico get any credit for last night's performance - specifically in terms of their 'great' defensive effort, I think I will crack. NOTHING could be further from the truth. Atletico got through last night principally due to a 'tale of two keepers'. Oblak was excellent, got fortunate a few times and Adrian unfortunately bottled it. There was absolutely NOTHING great about that defensive performance from them.

Trippier inferred after the game that they set up to frustrate us which is ******** .. they TRIED to set up to frustrate us but we completely dominated them, overran them and made them crap themselves for 90 minutes. At 2-0, we were home and dry and then Adrian let himself, and the team, and us supporters down. That one second of madness was a punch in the gut that we never recovered from and that includes the second goal which was more down to our defence screwing around then it was to an Adrian balls up. Llorente should never have been allowed to get that close to goal, let alone get a shot off and score.

For 95 minutes we showed why we are such a fearsome team and why every other team left in the competition sighed a great sigh of relief at the end because they no longer have to face us. It was an epic performance from us, possibly even the best of the season and, if we play like that for the rest of the season, we will win every remaining game, including away at City. No team on the planet can live with us when we play like that. Outstanding!

Every single player was excellent .. aside from Adrian obviously but that is what it is. Lucky for Atletico that Alisson got injured.

Unlucky boys - but you did us proud as you have throughout this season.

Sadly and unfortunately have to end with the unbelievable global events changing by the minute brought about by the now global pandemic Covid-19. Serie A has been suspended indefinitely, the NBA season has just been suspended, European football games being played behind closed doors, Arsenal v City game postponed. What does this mean for this season's PL? I fear dark clouds looming, unbelievable...

well hopefully the CL is also suspended and there is no CL winner for this year due to suspension of games. that could very well happen.

Pretty sure Epl will be announcing soon that the next few weeks matches will be played behind closed doors..
Hopefully Pool can seal the title playing in an empty stadium!

Now Pool's Epl title also on very shaky grounds with many players n managers getting d virus. Afraid they'll cancel the season n call it null n void...

No chance EPL cancelled and call it null and void.

Euro 2020 already likely to postpone so EPL can continue beyond May.

We will play and win this weekend game and win next one in an emptied stadium without fans and crowned Champion!

30 years ...a long wait !

Unlikely, it will be unfair for clubs still fighting for European spots and for clubs trying to avoid relegation. I don't think we will be denied our trophy given the massive gap we have over Man City. It is the rest of the league places that is problematic.

Given that we have the best league points in the history of top leagues, it is a pity if we cannot play the full season and see how many points we can get. If the suspension had taken place before our match against A.Madrid, I think we would have won the match given that Allison would have been back.

About 6 hours ago, this happened. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...ronavirus.html The Premier League then came out to suspend the league which is beyond what their government is advising. I think the British government is crazy.

Selfishly, I'm a little disappointed the champions league now wasnt called off a week earlier as it probably should have done.

Surreal times we are living in at the moment. From what I have been reading with respect to the EPL, think it is easy to say cancel this season but the legal ramifications are very far reaching thus making such a decision a very messy affair.

What I think is more feasible is to resume the remainder of this season's EPL over the summer months when hopefully Covid-19 would have already peaked and stabilised. I suspect 3rd April is too soon. But for that to happen Euro2020 needs to be postponed(possibly Copa2020 as well). Uefa's meeting on Tuesday should hopefully provide a clearer picture.

No more Football will be boring month.

Act of god and pandemic can kill sports activities.

All major sporting events suspended.
