I woke up to watch the last 25 minutes. We played very well, especially Bobby who lead from the front. He was energetic, controls the ball well and should have scored many goals. It didn't seemed so close while watching it live but when the replay was shown, his shot was just about the cross the line before getting cleared. Hope to see him continue playing so well for us during this busy period.

can't believe that Curtis Jones is only 19 YO and playing with such confidence. he'll be like another TAA, and we have plenty more quality players from the Academy.

can't wait to see Thiago back in action, his passing and distribution is fantastic.

They played well against Leicester, Pool deserved the victory no doubt about that but let's not get too carried away.
Don't forget the 7-2 thrashing by Villa not too long ago which shows the vulnerability of the team @times..

Actually I am hoping we field a weakened side and rest players for the match against Brighton. We are leading by quite a lot in the CL. Can rest our top players for 1 match to prevent injury.

With all the injuries and games coming so fast and thick, Klopp shall probably have to change things about for tonight's game against Atalanta.

No doubt we have a buffer in this CL group stage but then again a win tonight would mean we can play our team B and the kids for the remaining 2 CL games and rest our team A for the PL games. 5 subs also helps.

What ever it is, Matip needs to be wrapped in cotton wool and bubble wrap and should not play tonight, keeping him fit for the more important Brighton match on Saturday. I would also try and rest Robbo and Gini who have been playing far too many games including the Internationals, they clearly need a break. Play Jota and Mane but take them off after say 45minutes, Fabinho as well if the back 4 is stable.

Make no mistake this Atalanta game is going to be a tricky one, they are a good team notwithstanding our big win in Bergamo. But I think Klopp should have this covered.

Come on you Reds!

Atrocious display by Pool against Atalanta. Deserved to lose! And Atalanta is only a mediocre side. Rhys n Neco are still a long way from being 1st team material.

We are running low on numbers. Not enough people to rotate through the squad for this week. By next week, many of our short term injury guys should be back. Some of the guys tonight... the way they play.. it is almost if they are trying to save some strength for Brighton on Saturday.

Origi missed a good chance to impress. Mane played 90 minutes.. wonder if he will start on Saturday.

too many games and a lot of tired legs. we will do better next CL match.

looking at the stats, am surprised. 0 shots on target???

We never looked like scoring. Pity we didn't get a nil nil.

Neco Williams is a million miles away from being ready for first team football at a club like Liverpool. Origi may never play for us again unless away in Denmark if it's a dead rubber which doesn't look likely now if we want to top the group.

Not easy with a lot a changes but it was clear that one team needed to win this game.
Congrats to Atalanta, they were the better team on the night and deserved the victory. But the ref was awful.

Think last night was just a football match too many in many respects.

When Wijnaldum and Mane look knackered early in a game, you know you’ve played too many games.

It was a week we really needed to have free really. This time next week, hopefully our team will be entirely different from last night.

Finally have to say something about the sad news regarding Maradona's death last night. I was not born or too young to see Pele at his best but grew up instead watching Maradona at the top of his game. Flawed character no doubt but a true brilliant genius on the pitch and it would not be an exaggeration to say that but without him neither Argentina nor Napoli would have won the World Cup and Seria a respectively. This is why tears of sadness now flowing in Argentina and Naples. Thank you for the wonderful memories and RIP Diego Armando Maradona.

whatever it is, we have to top our CL grouping and avoid tougher opponents in the next round.
