I watched the match. Chelsea is really not much better than us. Our problem is our standards have dropped a lot. Mane missed a golden chance plus he did not go down for the penalty. If Mane is a Man U player, he will be screwed upside down for not being professional. Same thing against newcastle match. Their goalkeeper already use both hands to pull his leg already but still Mane chose to be honest. He misses chances he used to be able to score and stays on his feet during proper penalty claims. Sigh.

As for the Mason Mount goal, when he cut in, you know where he is going to dribble to before shooting. It is like watching a standard goal happening in real time. Fabinho is really having a bad day. You always push the attacker to the side and not like him cut in. It's almost a mantra like don't like the ball bounce.

We still have hope of top 4 but Klopp needs to wake up. Putting in Ox and Milner is poor judgement. Ox is really a has been now. Different player since his last injury. We should also consider starting Thiago on the bench. He slows us down a lot.

Another denfensive headache for Klopp.
Kabak is on injured list now..... only left Ben Davis, Nat Philips & Rhy Williams for CB.

Bro.... you r good.
Your analysis is spot on. :D

Not difficult to read the situation considering the set of players available to both teams + the tactical setups favoured by Tuschel.

Think our physio / fitness team need to take some responsibility for some of these injuries like soft tissue ones. Unbelievable and outrageous.

Thiago should be deployed the same way as he was deployed @Bayern as a deep lying midfielder. He's not an offensive player.
Klopp has played him out of position many times with the only exception against Chelsea @Stamford Bridge. Thiago is a brilliant player if used correctly! He hasn't been playing that badly actually, the rest of the players dragged him down together imo...
Anyway I find that Klopp is always fond of putting players out of their favourite position.

Pool can't even hold Fulham to a draw, how on earth are they going to go through the next round in CL? Leipzig might even knocked Liverpool off this Wed.

unless a miracle happen, i don't see us winning the CL at all with our current form.

we may beat Leipzig and qualify to next round but .................hopes are slim but my support for Pool is always there.

Could it be the players wants Klopp to be out?
That was what happened @ Chelsea n Scums when Lampard n Mourinho were terminated. I can't think of any other reason how a team who was a title contender, 7pts clear top of the table during X'mas n suddenly it just crumbled to fighting to survive in the top half of the table in a matter of 2mths!

Let’s look on the bright side.... only 4 of the remaining 10 games are at home....

And thank god our home tie against Leipzig has been moved to a neutral venue:o:D
