I think recent results show we really don't miss Gini Wijnaldum. Glad we did not extend his contract on a high weekly wage. Oxlade Chamberlain may turn out to be an outcast such a talented squad. I don't see how he can make our midfield 3 regularly. He may not even have a place in our midfield 3 for the smaller cup competitions. Given his high wages, maybe Liverpool will sell him or loan him soon.

Still too early and will never know when disaster strikes.

Last year crisis episode cannot repeat.

Actually VVD and Matip helped us to settle down with their winners both headers and passing. Allows Liverpool to play easier upfront and front to press.

Elliot have to be kept as secret weapon and at 18yo should not burned him out. So Ox better stay put.

Currently Liverpool have at least 2 players can sub for every position.

Plenty of matches and long run ahead.

Liverpool home crowd will be 12 player. Van Djik will be key to stop Lukaku. Salah will be the difference.

Supposedly a mixture of Kante plus Gerrard. We have been tracking him for some time. But he will be playing in the Afcon held later this season. Left 2 years on his contract. 10 cm taller than Gini so he will supposedly be better at defending corners.

£40m is too much to pay for him imo.. Shaq was only sold for £9.5m to Lyon n Harry Wilson was also sold for a small miserable amount. How could Pool be paying so much for Bissouma? He's an average player only I find, no where near Kante...

Frustrating result, as Chelsea were there for the taking.

We dominated the second half as expected, but there was no plan B. I thought the subs were correct, albeit a bit late. But there was no change in tactic or formation (unless i missed it). It was far too comfortable for Chelsea in the end.

VVD, Matip and Elliott were the positives for me. VVD looks as great as ever.

Need to buy a goalscoring forward. Having two forwards (Firmino/Mane) who can't get 10 league goals will not work.
