Pool should have taken it in the 2nd half.

Chelsea basically park the bus in the 2nd half. We got somewhat lucky with the penalty. The red card helped us a lot. I think we lacked a potential penalty area diver. If our players are like Manure players who go down so easily in the penalty box, defenders will not stay too close in the penalty area..May create more space to shoot. Our midfielders need to shoot more from outside the box so that the defenders will come out to close the gap. It then creates space for our strikers in the penalty box.

Hope Bobby's injury isn't too bad

Looks like no more signings?

Tough CL fixtures.

Credit to Chelsea also cos they defended well. They had no choice but to park the bus cos being a man down changed the whole dynamics of their game. Pool again lacking the creativity in midfield n attack with Mane sticking out like a sore thumb. Perhaps Thiago should have came on earlier in the 2nd half as he was the only one able to make those penetrating passes!
Reckon Mane should be dropped for the next couple of games.

Actually I think Thiago is over-rated. We don't have a credible option to Mane. Cannot be drop Mane to play Origi or Minamino also.

For this season, just maintain top 4. No other major objective. Not sure why we keep extending players contract until their mid-30s. We will be stuck with a pool of aging players on declining abilities who will be hard to move on in future soon.

Actually I think Klopp should have brought on Keita as well. Previous 2 games Naby looked like he was slowly showing why we paid so much for him. Trouble is I think the concern over whether Keita incurs yet another injury comes into play.

As for Mane you are right. He is still carrying his dreadful form from the last part of last season to this season. But guess Firmino's injury might make this more difficult?

We really should have tried to get another striker over the summer transfer, even a loan would have better than nothing.

Great news!!

All the pundits wrote off Liverpool chances. So Klopp can proved us all wrong by winning.

Any top 4 is good season. Anyway still have winter season transfer in January.

Salah holding Pool @ransom for renewal of his contract which will run out in 2yrs time.. He's asking for €28m a year which is simply ridiculous! Another mercenary..

Liverpool Echo says it is not true. I think we are extending his contract to preserve his resale value. I believe we will sell him in 1-2 year's time. Mane and Bobby are running on borrowed time now.

Klopp vitrually have all his players who won the CL and PL except Gini and Shaqiri.

Just have to go and prove pundits wrong.

All 4 strikers already scored in PL and let's keep fingers crossed.

If we can actually afford to pay £500k a week to Salah than i think it would make more sense to get Mbappe on a free next season and pay him that amount instead.

On Salah, well guess we need to sell him for as best a price we can get if we actually get Mbappe as a replacement. Pity because would like both but dont think we can afford both.

As for this season, lets see how things stand after 10 PL matches before getting excited one way or another. Still early days. But i do agree, the pressure is off us and definitely more on OGS, Tuchel and Pep.

Don't forget Mbappe's signing on fee. Likely to be many tens of million of pounds too.

I really don't know where our transfer budget went to. Our sales and our purchases... I don't think we spent any money this window.

Problem is cannot buy before selling.
