On Newcastle tonight, yes you are right bro. Practical strategy and hopefully no more injuries. Also another clean sheet please.

Think Origi still carrying a minor injury(fingers crossed) from the Milan match so still not available. Even Nat apparently picked up an injury at the San Siro, face got injured by Zlatan the beast. Tough guy is our Nat as he played on. Think he is out for the next few weeks.

Agreed would like to see more PL game time for Taki and a good run out for Keita. Also Tyler like you said. Tyler should be starting in the QF of the Carabao.

As for Afcon, wish it was just cancelled altogether because of Omicron:D

I think we will go for 3 points and not a high scoring game on Thursday. Klopp will want to manage the minutes as we head into the busiest part of the season. Once the points are secured, I think he will rest Mane/Salah to prevent injuries. Klopp also has to give Origi and Minamino games now. Otherwise, the two of them will be lacking in match fitness and match sharpness during the Afcon period.

I also want to see how Tyler performs for us in the EPL. Funny right? He plays more for us in the CL than in the EPL.

The latest news for Afcon is European clubs are threatening not to release players as Afcon has yet to submit an acceptable covid protocol. See how this goes.

Perhaps, but if I gave you a selection of Inter, Lille, Sporting and Salzburg to choose from for our knock out stage last 16 tie which team would you pick? ;)

There is no maybe or perhaps if you want to be crowned Champions. KO the strongest and others will fear.

Inter is licking their luck due to the re-draw.

Nat Philips want to play first team football and want a transfer.

Very few players want to sit and wait. This is reality.

Think Klopp will let him go with Rhys William return from Swansea loan.

The first goal scored by us is controversial. Obviously we played to the whistle but if an opponent scores such a goal against us, we will surely Kao Bei Kao Bu until the next day. If Jota held the cross instead of heading towards goal, he would have won a fair play award like Di Canio.

TAA's goal is the type of goal you want to watch Live. Waking up to watch the match, this type of goal makes waking up worth it. Power and Precision is solid. 3 points, no injuries. Post match Klopp says 3 players down with Covid. Not sure who they are.

Jota scored when Newcastle player lying down but the clash of heads was their own Newcastle players involved. I saw the highlights and played back a few times. Ref Mike Dean didn't blew his whistle thinking the player maybe play acting since that was their own box.

Salah goal was a rebound saved by the Newcastle goal after Mane shot.

TAA shot was a screamer and maybe voted goal of the month or year.

Excellent day of football for us last night:cool:

A win without VVD and Fab because of Covid. Chelsea held to a draw at the Bridge, thank you Agent Rafa:D If we can win against Spurs(if it is still
on) it would be phenomenal.

It did not look like Klopp would have given VVD and Fab any rest. Now they get at least 10 days off. VVD will not be missed as much as I thought. Fab on the other hand.... Not sure Thiago alone in the back is good enough in the PL? May be in Bundesliga but not here.

Excellent first half, average for most of the second half. Much better in the last 10mins, and a very big 3 points. Firmino and Keita really improved the game when they came on. Konate had a superb night, pretty flawless. As he was against Milan.

On Trent's goal, you will rarely see a football struck as clean and pure as he struck that ball last night. Poetry in motion:cool:

As for the nonsense about the head injury when we scored our equaliser, nothing touched his head! Hayden basically looked up, saw Saint-Maximin wasn't on the counter and then went down holding his head:rolleyes: Well played Mike Dean for not falling for it. Extra beautiful that it was Hayden playing Jota onside too:p

Klopp utilizes 4 3 3 n Thiago doesn't really fits into this system as he's deployed on the left side. To get the best out of Thiago as what Bayern did is to play 4 2 3 1 where he sits deep in midfield with another defensive midfielder. From this position he'll be able to penetrate the opponent with his quick passing ability. He's not the type of an offensive attacking player.

It started as 4-3-3 but will go as 4-2-2-2 and not 4-2-3-1. Now Liverpool can attack from center instead of only wings due to Thiago passing.
