Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
At £220m i say Salah should go and thank you very much. It is an unbelievable price for a player of that age. Think we can survive until we find an adequate replacement. We ain't going to win the PL this season and neither are we in the CL, so i think it should be ok.
On the midfield, i dont think its complete as we still need a proper solid reliable long term #6. Endo is not the answer. Mac is wasted in the #6 role, and also i dont think he is that good as a #6 either. At the sametime we still also need to strengthen our Defence. To me as it stands, i am not convinced that we have enough defensive quality to win the big trophies i e PL and CL. Attack yes but not the Defence. If not for Alisson, i don't think we would have 10 out of 12 points. Big tests to come when we play City, Arsenal, Spurs and even the likes of say Brighton, West Ham, Palace and Brentford. Finally as for the Henderson interview, he should know himself. He was never that good. Just lucky to be in the right place at the right time, unlucky Stevie G. Just shut up, be grateful and enjoy the money Jordan. |

As for defence, can let Quansah have a go and instead buy another defensive players. Can even allow Nathan Phillips to go on loan. VVD will be back and guaranteed starting XI. Konate is also guaranteed start after injury recovery. Both Gomez and Matip can backup. Too players to sit on bench is a no no. |
Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Selling Salah at this point of the season will leave the team vulnerable due to lack of a proven striker. Nunez has not proven to be consistent in scoring thou his movement is good but his finishing still needs polishing. Ideally perhaps Liverpool should negotiate to let him go during the Jan transfer window cos by then the Africa competition already starting and we will also likely miss Salah for one month at least..

Or maybe we can strike a deal with the Saudi . Sell him with 200M but loan him and stay with Liverpool till the season is over

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Jarell Quansah makes his first competitive start for Liverpool in today’s lunchtime encounter with Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The centre-back comes into the Reds’ defence at Molineux, with Trent Alexander-Arnold (hamstring) and Virgil van Dijk (suspension) ruled out and Ibrahima Konate on the bench after recovering from injury. Ryan Gravenberch is named on the bench, while Andy Robertson wears the captain's armband. Liverpool: Alisson, Gomez, Matip, Quansah, Robertson, Mac Allister, Jones, Szoboszlai, Jota, Salah, Gakpo. Subs: Kelleher, Endo, Konate, Diaz, Nunez, Elliott, Tsimikas, Gravenberch, Bajcetic |
