Just took two guys from teh english based forum on a tour so some updates, airport joints DEFINATELY changed, but its under a new guise that i would be suprised someone who wanst in the know would recognised but out of the 6-7 shops open last year 4 now are open...BUT some VERY BEAUTIFAL girls on their books cost 800k. There are a few new shops opening up in viet local areas offering also Fucks, but they want 1.2mill and its been hard to negotiate a better price. The shops in the western area are now mostly closed.

The d7 bbbj shops have started to reopen in another guise that may be hard to recognise, cost 250k, and there are still plenty of hot toc offering bbbj from 150-300k, some have relocated others have been unaffected. Finally seems more massages are offering bbbj and fuck jobs, teh cost is bewteen 300k for a bbbj and 1 mill for a fuck, then addon 100-500l for the ticket.

So yes things are back to "normal" but the old info is now practically useless so time to get a new adress book.

TP Chau Doc, An Giang...1.5 hrs from Cambodia border, 1.5hrs from Long Xuyen, An Giang, 2 hrs from Rach Gia, Kien Giang...6.5hrs from HCM...:)

This place is not a beauty but is cheap...eat a nice meal for 20k VND...coffee at a air-con cafe cost 15-20k VND...

Chua Ba Xu...a very popular temple about 3km from city...is like a town by itself with hotels and restaurants, eateries and shops catered to this temple...loads of devotees from all over Vietnam will come to pray...this temple has 200 years history...

3 hrs from Chau Doc, An Giang...4 hrs from HCM...

Vietnamese from everywhere come here to visit...and also foreigners too...sitting at the Ben Tau Ninh Kieu in the evening...can see many ppl come to the riverfront to enjoy an outing...6am the peer is already full of life...

In addition, in the evening, there is a boat restaurant, something similar concept as Bach Dang in HCMC, will bring customers to tour a portion of the river with some charges.

Near the statue of Bac Ho, there is a night-market.

That's all I can think of the activity around Ben Ninh Kieu.....
