Surprised Klopp playing a strong team to beat Arsenal in FA Cup 3rd round.

Mid week have to play Fulham for League Cup semi final.

Anyway good team work and nice to win.

Wow! A real smash and grab.
Arsenal missed a ton of chances and Liverpool scored twice.
Great resilience by Liverpool and Arsenal ( No More Red) chokes again...

Arsenal needs a new striker......

No more budget. They spent big on Declan Rice. $105 million pounds? We spent $16 million pounds on Endo. Klopp has yet to spend his $95 million savings from the Caicedo deal

Big name maybe big flop!

If academy players can step up then why need sign big players.

Best time for academy players to learn the game since all housed in Kirby now.

Liverpool handed out most senior appearances for academy players and the young lads benefited.

Wow, extremely delighted with the result at the Emirates last night!

Did not watch the match but saw the highlights and read the reports....

Think Martin Tyler (who must have been gutted:rolleyes::D) summed it up best by saying "No Salah, No VVD, No worries for Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool":p

All credit to Klopp for changing tactics in the 2nd half...moving Nunez to the left, Diaz to the right and Jota as a floating #9...also pushing Trent up to midfield....those tactics seemed to have done the biz:cool:

Konate apparently was a beast.

Gomez was solid apart from one early error in the 1st half.

Not forgetting we had 3 academy players in....

Quansah20yo playing cool and calm together with Konate;

Bradley 20yo & Clark 18yo coming on in the last 20 mins, seems like some people thought Klopp was throwing the match away by playing these young newbies in such a big match...extremely pleased to read that they performed very well, especially Bradley who had Martinelli in his pocket!

Big up to Jota who is going to be very important while Mo is away.

And Diaz's goal seems very mane-esque, like the one Mane once scored against City!

Most importantly No Injuries and No Replay!

Really proud of our Redmen!

We go again on Wednesday against Fulham.

Klopp said no chance that former Captain Hendo will return...this is why Hendo not in the stadium watching unlike Firmino and Fabinho.

Firmino wanted by Fulham?

Never burnt bridges and always maintain goor relationship.

Looks like i spoke too soon:o

Trent out for at least 3 weeks, probably more like 6 weeks with our luck, hiazz!!

Cant believe what bad luck we are having with injuries just when we are getting some kind of momentum and Trent in his best form this season:(

Dont know where the creativity is going to come from now? All our right side is decimated, No Trent, Dom, Mo:eek:

Guess we need to play a flat back four and hope the midfield can come up with some creativity.

Liverpool 2 - 1 Fulham - League Cup SF 1st leg

Still have a job to do two weeks later.

Just ensure we get to finals will do.

Did not watch the match but saw the highlights and read the reports.

Youngest Liverpool team in a cup semi in recent years at an average age of 23yo, so proud of our boys!

This Reds team has resilience, grit, true mentality monsters! Never write us off when down!

Big credit has to go to Klopp for having faith in his entire squad and also his tactical acumen in making the right changes to turn a match around.

Big shout out to:

Jota...fingers crossed he stays fit as he has been instrumental, especially since Mo went off for Afcon.

Nunez....poor chap really no luck in scoring but his overall play and assists have been very important...still would love to see him score a few more goals.

Gakpo....scoring important goals and making his presence felt in attack.

Jones...really finding very good form at the right time when we need it.

Bradley....seems like we might have discovered another Robbo but as a RB!

Kudos to the Academy for producing some real bright talent!

Wish our Redmen a happy restful short break now till Bournemouth next Sunday.

I saw the match live.
Jones and Bradley played extremely well.
Great omen for the future.

I had said before that Klopp trust his academy players. The Liverpool academy had best chance to play in senior matches.

I believe Klopp had a say which players to sign for academy too.

Got to watch the match last night on LFC tv/Starhub.

Yup, both Jones and Bradley had very good games.

But think the game changed in Liverpool's favour when Klopp brought on Nunez and Gakpo.

Must say this semi is still very much in the air though as I think Marco Silva has put together quite a good Fulham team. Willian has not aged and Leno also pulled off some really good saves.

Going to be an interesting one at the Cottage in the return.
