As for tomorrow's big game at OT...

We’ve only won at OT 7 times in 32 visits during PL era and one of those was during covid when United had 3 games in a week

So our record there is utter ***** and many of our draws and defeats came when we were favourites

Would I take a draw now? No, but if we get one it won’t be the worst thing as it’s historically our toughest away game done and dusted

Seems like he really wants to be at Anfield

Already giving positive energy

Just hope for the best

That's because nobody else wants him.... and he is unlikely to get any minutes in Juventus given his low pecking order...... Juventus offered to loan him to a couple of clubs but they declined to take him.
The offer from Liverpool is a lifeline thrown to him... hope he makes full use of it.

Arne Slot & his team seems to know what they are doing...... I believe in them and think he will break the MU jinx tomorrow.

Man Utd - 0
Liverpool - 2

Battle of the Baldy Dutch Managers and Slot easily comes up trumps against ETH.

Didn’t think a 0-3 result would happen last night, I was completely wrong and I couldn’t be happier to be wrong:D

Thought it was going to be a tough game for us. Their line up on paper looked pretty decent and seemed like Garnacho and Rashford would have given our full-backs more of a test.

Have to say Slot handled that really well.Think it bears repeating that we now look a well coached team. Grav looks a different player. They are coaching him hard and his position gets better week on week. Diaz outstanding, so too VVD and Mo with a new lease of life. All good. Shame about Dom's non finish though. We definitely could have won by more.

Anyways, nothing beats us winning at OT, seeing it half empty, Liverpool fans having a whale of a time and Gary Neville having to see it and commentate on it:p Also damn happy to see Casemiro looking like shit after all the misery he gave us when he was at Madrid. Same for Ruud van Nistelrooy on the bench:D

Things I really like about Slot's team/tactics:

1. Formation 4-2-3-1. Love this for this group of players

2. We seem more physical

3. Playing between the lines more effectively/differently

4. Players on the GK for corners

Very early days but still a great start to the Slot era...

3 wins, two away (incl at OT), no goals conceded. Can't ask for anymore than that:cool:

Also must say the new 3rd kit looked really nice. We should have made that the away kit and the current away kit the 3rd kit.

I hope we don't end up sacking another Man U manager. Normally after a big loss at OT to us, the manager will be let go of. How many managers have been sacked after losing to us?

Last time Alex Ferguson or Rafa will just tell the clubs who to sign. Whether it can be done is another story. Now the clubs are run in American style. Players are signed by committee while the manager's job is at risk if he cannot make the players perform. If the committee signs unsuitable players or hardly sign anyone in our case, is it fair to pass the bulk of the blame on the manager?

It's like going to a Chinese restaurant for steamed fish. If the restaurant didn't buy fresh fish, is it fair to blame the chef for a mediocre dish? I think Man U's problem is they keep signing expensive players who are unwilling yo run their lungs out for the club. Change manager how many times also won't solve the lack of desire to perform

7Hag + 3Hag = 10Hag:D

"Ten Hag's at the wheel, at the wheel, Ten Hag's at the wheel"...well this is what the Liverpool fans were singing at OT last night, lol

Also have to acknowledge that Madrid know when to get rid of their 'top' players, just look at the state of Casemiro & Varane post Madrid;)

We played normal and MU was just poor. The goals scored were easy avoidable goals and MU make it easy for us.

Slot was lucky the players executed well and Gravenbach played no 6 role pretty solid.

There will be many more big games to come and more injuries to come. Let's see how Slot handle the players or team.

As you said early days. Best dun have too much expectation.

Given it's the international break, there was a lot of analysis online about the last game (Man U Vs Liverpool). Man U lost these 8 first team players in the past window. Scott McTominay, Mason Greenwood, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Donny van de Beek, Raphaël Varane, Jadon Sancho, Anthony Martial, Sofyan Amrabat. Probably because they didn't qualify for the CL so they had to let the high earners go. But ETH was really playing with a relatively new team whereas Slot is using Klopp's old team under a slightly new system.

Anyway, we have a string of crazy fixtures coming up that will test the strength of our thin squad.

20 Oct: Home game Vs Chelsea
23 Oct: Away Game Vs RB Leipzig
27 Oct: Away game Vs Arsenal (sigh)
2 Nov: Home Vs Brighton
5 Nov: Home Vs Leverkusen (against Alonso)
9 Nov: Home Vs Aston Villa
International Break
23 Nov: Away Vs Southampton
27 Nov: Home against Real Madrid
30 Nov: Home against Man City.

Our PL games before and after the CL games are damn tough (except Southampton). Villa is a CL team now. Brighton is a good team. Chelsea's form is super good or super bad.

There were always be plenty of games to play. Some will be huge BIG Game.

Arne Slot will be tested vigorously.

Well said bro ...can't agree more with u...but this baldy manager of MU is really clueless how to turn the game around when they r losing..mid way or towards the end of the game taking out the good ones n replacing them with lesser quality players n thereby conceding even more goals...in the case of this baldy, he got the players he wanted e.g Antony but they r all not playing up to expectations
